I made my way up the stairs, Blake attempting to get my attention as I did so.

Eventually, I heard Dustin walk through the front door with my father, and Blake filled them in as I closed my door.

"Well why the hell didn't she tell us?" Dad's voice boomed from the living room.

I flopped down on my bed and picked up a book
