C13 His Son

River hadn't seen Spencer for days after she was taken by him. Although River felt frustrated and sad about what happened, she still chose to stay positive because she knew it would not help her. And for her comfort, she decided to take a walk around the mansion because she also wanted to walk around for a long time.

Spencer's staff allowed her even without Spencer's presence. During River's tour around the mansion, she was amazed at the atmosphere around it, because there was a large garden with a fountain in the middle of it, which caused her to focus her attention on the beautiful flowers.

"Mommy!" River slowly raised her head and then stared at the boy in front of her as if his eyes were covered with emotion.

"H- hi !?"

River's confused greeting with a smile at the child. The boy immediately approached her and then suddenly hugged her and cried on her shoulder as she sat down. She was surprised by the boy's reaction but she still chose to hug her back and calm the boy down.

"Sssh! W-why are you crying baby boy?" River asked weak but with a smile at the boy. He didn't say a word but just continued to cry while saying the word "MOMMY."

"M-mommy!-Ummm-mommy!" He sobbed saying it repeatedly.

"Baby-- stop sobbing please -- what would people think of us if they see you crying here in front of me."

Her words weaken the child. Not long after, he suddenly stopped crying and then looked up at her. The child's eyes were like talking to her, so River knew he was feeling something.

"Is there a problem kid?" River asked the boy gently. He shook his head slowly and then smiled broadly.

"N-no mommy," the child's tone showed pleasure. River was again enveloped in astonishment as she uttered ‘MOMMY’ to her.

"N-no baby boy! I'm not your mommy. Y-you're mistaken l--"

"No! No! You're my mommy!" The child's persistence was accompanied by his concussion.

"Baby boy I-I'm not--"

"RIVER!"

They both turned their heads to the source of the voice.

"D-daddy!" The child said softly. Spencer slowly moved toward them as River and the boy slowly stood up.

"What's wrong with you my son?" Spencer asked Spawn. River crookedly while glancing at the child he said was his son.

"Y-your child? I-I mean you have a child?" River asked Spencer full of astonishment, 'cause he thought Spencer was still young. "Yes, he is my son. He's Spawn Vilavide, why?" He said without hesitation and almost didn’t care about River’s astonished reaction.

"Daddy! mommy is back with us." Spawn said to his father Spencer while looking at River with a smile.

"Y-you're mist--"

"Yes, son! Your mommy came back to us, are you happy?" There was a streak of a smile on Spencer's answer to the child then once glanced at River who now could not believe what Spencer was saying.

"W-what--" River interrupted again by Spawn's answer.

"Yes daddy I'm happy!" Spawn immediately replies to his father.

River wanted to oppose the idea that she was the child's mommy but when she was ready to speak, Spawn quickly hugged her tightly on her stomach. So, now she feels pity for the child.

"Your home mommy! I'm so happy because you're back." River could feel the pleasure in Spawn's emotions when Spencer said that she was his mommy. So River's tongue receded even more and felt hard to admit to the child that she is not his mama and that Spencer is just lying. She also couldn't stop herself from giving back a hug to Spawn because she could feel the child's love for her even though she knew she wasn't his real mother. As she and Spawn hugged, she caught a glimpse of Spencer who was now just looking at them and his eyes seemed to be begging her to let Spawn feel that she was the mother.

River was about to fall asleep when she heard a faint knock on the door, so she was forced to get up and open the door. She even jumped a little when she see Spencer outside the door. She was only wearing denim pants and no top, so she could see the elegance of Spencer's body which made her heart beat faster and swallow intimately.

"S-spencer," she said in her trembling tone.

"Can we talk?" Spencer said with permission. River wants to deny what Spencer wants but she can't because she's the one who's deceiving herself.

"A-all right," she replied softly.

She stepped into her room first and then Spencer entered. River slowly sat down on the edge of her bed while Spencer was on the single sofa at the end of River's bed. There was a temporary silence between the two of them when Spencer suddenly sighed and then spoke first.

"Can you pretend to be Spawn's Mother, Ms. Madrigal?" Spencer's inception of a plea to River. The maiden immediately frowned as she stared at Spencer.

"And why would I do that?" Her question is antipathetic. Spencer immediately reached her causing her to back away slightly from the bed while Spencer was too close to her, where she could already feel his breath.

"I'll pay you no matter how much it is. As long as you just pretend to be Spawn's mom." He seemed to beg to say this to River.

River wanted to speak but she couldn't because her breathing was gasping due to the strange sensation Spencer caused in front of her. Their faces were close together as Spencer bowed slightly as his palm rested on his thigh. River swallowed slowly as she closed her eyes then took a deep breath and slowly exhaled.

"Even if you don't pay me anymore, just don't repeat what happened to us the other night." She said to Spencer without hesitation. The expression on his face immediately changed and then he straightened up and stared sharply at River.

"Don't you like what happened to us! River?" There seems to be a streak of angry questions in it. River was shocked by Spencer's sudden change of mood towards her. So she immediately stood up and frowned when she looked at him.

"Maybe you forgot that you just suddenly left me on the air after you took over my virginity!" There seemed to be a streak of frustration in River's tone. Spencer gave her a sarcastic smile that made her even angrier.

"Why are you smiling there!?" She annoyingly asked.

"Why did you get hung up on what I did?" Spencer's incredibly averse poking fun at River.

"You, pissed and annoying!" She said pissed.

She was about to turn around when Spencer suddenly pulled her near to him and then quickly kissed her on the lips. She wanted to fight but she couldn't because her own body responded to every kiss and caress Spencer gives her causing her to finally give up.
