C14 Bond

Spencer woke up early next to River and even though he was wide awake he still didn't get up because he was just staring at the image of River who was now still sound asleep lying on his side and covered with a blanket.

For the second time he claim the maiden, and he never regretted reclaiming her again because last night he felt the maiden's pure tolerance of him. He knew it was not right for them to happen, but he couldn’t refuse the call of the flesh when it comes to River. Call him bad if that is bad, but one thing is important. And that he'd be happy with the woman who sold to him. Once again, he remembered why River was with him. Reason for him to clenched his fist. So he slowly got up and got off the bed then picked up his boxer short and pants and put them on. He glanced at River again before finally leaving the girl's room.

"Everything is ready boss." Troy turned to Spencer.

He got up quickly and then left his room first and easily went to his expensive car. Troy and the rest of his crew just followed him. Spencer opened the car window then motioned for Troy to approach him.

"Where's River?" He unblemished emotional question to Troy.

"She's in her room with Spawn boss." Troy replied.

"When did was Spawn there?" Spencer asked as he rubbed his chin.

"This early morning boss." Troy replied shortly.

Spencer didn't speak and then closed the window of his car again. Troy hurried into the front seat of the car before the car finally pulled over.

"How's your shipment?" Spencer asked Troy while busy with his laptop on his lap.

"The parcel has been sent properly and the money has been entered via cryptocurrency." Troy replied.

"Did the dr*gs arrive?" Spencer asked again.

"Yes boss, in fact I have already shared with our people and everyone already has a buyers." Troy simply answered.

"Good to hear it Troy." He said as his laptop landed next to him.

"What about River's father? Have you found him already?" Spencer asked as he turned his gaze out of the car window.

"Not yet boss, maybe he hid well so he won't be found right away." Troy answered.

"How are River's brother and mother?" Spencer's questions seemed tainted with concern.

"They are okay even though they are having a hard time in life according to our source." Troy's immediate response seemed conscientious. Spencer took a deep breath and thought deeply.

"Mommy! Mommy!"

"Yes Spawnie!" River answers Spawn's call.

River knows it's wrong to pretend to be Spawn's mother but she also doesn't want to disappoint the child because she sees in him how much he loves his real mother.

"Mommy, do you think daddy will let me go to school?" The boy suddenly asked River.

He looked at Spawn in surprise and thought. ‘Didn’t Spawn have the experience of going to a school? Is he home schooling? ' she secretly asked herself. She softly smiled at Spawn and gestured her hand in a hug. Spawn's hug rushed her quickly while staring and smiling at her.

"Maybe Spawnie. Why don't you ask your daddy? You know he'll let you go to school." She answered smiling at the child.

She no longer forced the child to ask about the state of his education because she did not want him to have an idea in the absence of his real mother.

"I hope so mommy," he replied to River with a streak of sadness.

River, on the other hand, felt sad in his tone so to brig back his joy, she invited him to make food in the kitchen and Spawn easily accepted it so they went to the kitchen together and cooked happily there.

"Mommy, where did you learn to cook?" Spawn asked River. He glanced at the boy and then smiled at him.

"To my mom Spawnie." She answered. "Is she good at cooking mommy?" Spawn asked curiously.

"Oum-ohm," River nodded while busy with his milk soup mixing.

"I'm excited to taste your cook food mommy. I haven't tasted your cooking for a long time, mommy." He was full of happiness when he said this to River.

River immediately felt conscience and pity for what Spawn said. Conscience for pretending to be his mother. Pity, because she really misses the care of a mother. And now did the questions enter River's brain as to how would she play the role of being a mother to Spawn if she didn't even know about the child's character and temperament, and how she and her real mother used to be when they were together.

'I have to ask Spencer about that, if he doesn't want to or wants to, I need to have answers. Because I have no idea what to answer Spawn about his puzzling questions. ' He whispered through herself.

"Mommy!" Spawn calls River's attention.

River blinked and then showed the boy a tender smile. Spawn will be in his seven years old so he knows how to talk properly. So River has no difficulty for understanding him.

"It's cooked Spawnie!" He happily taught the child then hold the pot with a soup inside it and then landed on the center island.

"Wow mommy! That must be delicious." There was a trace of excitement on Spawn's face as he watched River poured the soup into a bowl.

"Here you go baby boy." River said as she slowly placed a bowl of soup in front of Spawn. Spawn immediately took a teaspoon and then gently blew to reduce the heat and slowly taste the soup.

"What Spawnie? Is it delicious or not? Tell me." River asked the child worriedly and nervously. Spawn's smile widened immediately and then gave her a thumbs up.

"It's so delicious mommy!" There's a trace of joy in his appearance.

"Thank you baby boy!" River said then winked at Spawn. Spawn eats happily while River can't help but eat with him.
