C12 Her birthday

Today was Ayla's birthday and Damien had decided to give her a surprise party. He convinced Nina to help him lure Ayla out while he and Nick started with the decorations. Ayla and Nina had a girls fun time together. They went to the amusement park and rode roller coasters and ferry wheels. After there,they went to an ice cream shop to get themselves ice cream.

“I think we need to go back home, it's getting late". Ayla suggested after she saw the time on her phone. Nina secretly texted Damien. “Can we come back now", Nina texted. She soon received a reply. “Yeah you can come now,we just finished with everything", Damien replied. Nina quickly placed the phone back into her bag to prevent Ayla from suspecting anything. “What's with the sudden smile".Ayla asked. “Its nothing much, let's go back home, it's late". Nina changed the subject.

Nina hailed a cab. Nina sat in the front seat while Ayla sat at the backseat. But the front seat was separated by a window barrier which is sound proof so Ayla couldn't hear what Nina was talking to the driver about. She looked at the window and realized this is not the way back to the hostel. Something is wrong, Ayla thought. “Nina where are we heading to, this is not the way back to the hostel". Ayla said. “I know but I've got a surprise for you so just sit back and relax"Nina said. “What is it about". Ayla asked again. “If I tell you then what's the essence of it being a surprise". Nina giggled.

They soon arrived at a fancy hotel. “I guess this surprise is big",Ayla murmured. With a ding sound, the elevator opened and they headed to the VIP suite. Ayla was surprised Nina knew the passcode. When they entered the room,the lights were off. Ayla was a bit nervous. With a clap from someone, the lights went on and everyone burst out “SURPRISE". The people gathered around were Viana,Nick, Damien, Jake and Cindy. “OMG Viana, you are also here”. Ayla said excitedly. Viana nodded. “I wouldn't miss your birthday for anything Ayla". Viana said. Ayla hugged Viana. Viana later excused herself after some eating and dancing.

Damien walked closer to Ayla and whispered “Happy birthday mate". “Mate",Ayla asked confused and looked at him. “Oh you mean school mate,I now get it", Ayla smiled. “Thank you Damien, I heard you were the mastermind behind all this, I really appreciate". Ayla said. “Thank you so much guys, I wasn't expecting this kind of surprise from you all. I'm really happy". Ayla said. They sang a happy birthday song for Ayla. It was soon time for blowing the candles on the cake.

“Make a wish". Damien said. Ayla closed her eyes and wished she could find a soulmate who she can cling to forever. “What did you wish for?". Damien asked. “I'm not telling you". Ayla teased. “ Would you care for a dance". Damien stretched out his hands. Ayla took his hands and they danced gloriously like a couple. “They look cute together". Nina said. Ayla blushed. Damien held Ayla's waist when she slipped. Ayla felt tingles within the pit of her stomach. She kept staring at Damien.

“Oh my God why didn't I realize he looks this handsome and sexy. I can stare at him all day". Ayla thought. “Are you ok". Damien asked all of a sudden making Ayla snap back to her senses. “Oh yeah I am".She smiled. She was embarrassed at the fact that Damien caught her staring.

Damien sniffed and smelled Ayla's arousal. “Oh f**k" he mind linked Eli his wolf. “Our mate is aroused”. Eli said through the link. Ayla noticed Damien's eye colour change and was a bit scared. “What's wrong with him",she thought.
