C6 Stalking

After school,they headed back to their room. Ayla couldn't sleep no matter how hard she tried. She felt someone was watching her all the time but she couldn't pinpoint who it was. Meanwhile Damien was looking at the sleeping Ayla through the window. He smiled when he saw his mate lying comfortably on the bed. He hid when he saw her lifting the blanket and sat up. She walked towards the window. “That's weird"Ayla said. “I feel someone is stalking me" she thought. "Who could that be, I need to be on guard", she said to herself. Ayla kept pacing up and down in the room hoping to catch a glimpse of the person but after a while she felt tired and sat down on the bed.

She remembered she took Damien's number from Nick. “A text will do". She nodded at her thought.

Ayla:Hi

As soon as she sent the message, she received a quick reply.

Damien: Hello, may I know who this is?

Ayla wanted to play a small trick on him so she typed "Guess who?". “I'm not good at guessing,Damien messaged back. "It's Ayla" ."How are you Ayla?". Damien typed back. “I'n fine Damien but I didn't see you around on campus today so I wanted to know whether you are ok". Ayla replied. “That's nice of you, I really appreciate". “Bye I've got sleep Damien". Ayla sighed and placed her phone on the bed.

Damien laughed while clutching his phone. “Eli I guess our mate is beginning to like us". “Yes, I really want to mark her and claim her as mine". Eli replied back. “Not now Eli".Damien warned. “She is immature now,we can only claim our mate when she is ready. We can't force her to accept us".Damien sighed.

Class was boring the next day. Ayla had registered for swimming lessons outside campus. The time schedule for the swimming lessons clashes with Miss Alma's class but she decided to skip it. After recess, she hailed a cab and headed towards the venue for the swimming lessons. During the practice, she felt burning eyes piercing right through her but when she turned around, she couldn't see anyone either than the people learning with her and the tutor. “Are you ok Ayla, you keep losing your balance in the pool". The swimming tutor said. “ I'm not feeling it today,can I come another time". Ayla asked. “ Whatever you are cool with".The tutor replied.

“Was it my imagination".Ayla thought. After she left, she hurried back to the hostel. She knocked several times but no one responded. “Maybe Nina has gone out". She used the spare key to open the door. When she entered the room, she was shocked by what she saw. She saw Nina and Nick making out on Nina's bed. "No wonder no one answered when I knocked",she thought. She snapped out of her thoughts. “Oh my God, what on earth are you guys doing". Ayla burst out. Nina laughed and said “Sorry for making you see that Ayla". “I'm not against you guys making out but at least get a room".Ayla laughed.

“Aren't you supposed to come back at 6:30pm". Nina asked. “Sorry for interrupting you guys but I think someone is following me so I had to come here quickly. I asked for a time off from the swimming tutor".Ayla said. Nick laughed. Nina tapped his shoulder and whispered “babe, do you know who it might be". Nick sighed. “I think it can be Damien and the only reason is to protect her secretly but I'm not sure yet". Nick shrugged his shoulders. He felt awkward being there so hurriedly left. Nina laughed and said “Ayla it might be your imagination". Ayla sighed with the ‘I hope so look'.
