C7 Double date

After the annoying ringing of the alarm,Ayla woke up. Nina was busily asleep. Ayla laughed at how comfortable Nina was still lying on the bed despite the loud ringing of the alarm without a care in the world. Ayla stood up and straightened her pajamas. She walked towards Nina's bed and pat her. “Wake up lazy bones”.Ayla laughed. "I want to sleep for a little longer".Nina whined and rolled to the other side of her bed. Ayla shook her and Nina woke up firing daggers through her eyes. “You should thank me for waking you up. I know today is a holiday and there's no class but have you forgotten you have a date with Nick. I promised to dress you up remember".Ayla explained.

“Oops I forgot”. Nina covered her mouth. She hurriedly rushed for a quick shower. After Nina came out from the shower,Ayla followed suit. Nina remembered what Nick said about luring Ayla to come along with her. After series of funny arguments between the girls,Nina settled for a blue floral dress which reaches just beneath her knee. Ayla just looked at her in awe. “I never knew I'm good with styling"she added.

“Ermmm... Ayla,we need to get you ready as well". Nina said looking down. “I don't want to be a third wheel on your lovely date with Nick". Ayla said. “Please”. Nina said with puffy eyes. “Ok fine I will go but I need a suitable outfit". “I can help you with that".Nina smiled. Ayla settled for a pair of blue jeans with a pink crop top.“I'm good to go". They hailed and headed towards the venue Nick gave Nina. Meanwhile Nick had tried really hard before Damien agreed to go along with him. They arrived at the venue before the girls. While they were sitting down waiting for the girls, they walked in. Damien's mouth dropped when he saw Ayla's appearance.

Her beauty was breathtaking as always. “Why is he also here ?".Ayla asked Nina. Nina just giggled. “It's a double date, that's why I had to lure you to come along". Nina replied. “I feel betrayed",Ayla said in a joking manner. “Well, let's go, the guys are waiting for us".Nina said. Nina dragged Ayla along. “Hi guys". Nina winked at Nick. “Hi ladies",Nick responded. Ayla sat beside Damien because that was the only empty seat available since Nina was already seated at the place closer to Nick. “What would you like to eat". Damien asked Ayla. Ayla kept fidgeting with her hands below the table. She was a bit nervous. “I think anything will do”.

Damien called the waitress and ordered beef steak with salad and veggies. “How did you know my favorite food". Ayla asked Damien in confusion. Damien just smiled. “I guess that makes two of us". Damien laughed. Ayla just shrugged her shoulders. During the meal,Damien asked Ayla,“Do you have any siblings". “Sorry to say no, I'm the only child though and quite unfortunate. I resemble mom a lot , except my eyes which I took from my dad". Ayla laughed. “I heard from my mom that my dad thought I was a boy and chose several boys names and bought several boys clothing and toys. I guess I disappointed him". Ayla giggled at that thought. “ But nevertheless, I'm my dad's precious gem". Damien smiled.

“Well,it's my turn to ask questions, do you live with your parents Damien?". Ayla asked. Damien remained silent for a while and said “I don't want to talk about that today, what about another time when I'm ready". “Sorry my bad, I shouldn't have asked you". Ayla said in a concerned tone. “No need to apologize Ayla, I'm good". Damien said. “Let's enjoy the meal shall we". Damien added. Ayla smiled and nodded.

The date was really lovely. Ayla had the chance to interact and get to know Damien well. She even forgot the existence of Nick and Nina. She looked at them and they seem to be doing their own thing. All too soon,it was getting late and they had to hurry back to the hostel before it's locked. “It's late,I think we should go back". Nina suggested. The guys offered to drop them at the hostel. Damien sat at the driver's seat with Nick at the passenger seat and the girls at the back seat. “Are you ready for a fast ride". Damien asked. The girls giggled. “Then buckle your seat belts because I'm gonna drive at a fast speed". Damien said. The guys dropped them off at the entrance of the hostel. “I had a lovely time”. Damien told Ayla. “Me too". Ayla smiled. The guys watched for the girls to enter the hostel before they drove off.
