"Why does your mother call you Natale?" Mia asked Nate that night.

"Maybe because that's my real name?" He asked with a small smile.

"I need an answer you dumbass." Mia said with an eyeroll.

"Then the real question you're supposed to ask is 'why does everyone else call me Nate?'"

"Hmm" Mia said as she thought on it.
