Alex looked longingly at Jessica. There was pain and hurt in his eyes while hers was filled with hatred.

"What may I do for you guys?" She asked him.

"Um, right. We are here to meet Sheriff Sterling." Brown said to her as he cleared his throat.

There was obvious and palpable tension in the air. A result of Alex and Jessica's gaze.
