"Could you give me a ride home?" Mia said to Nate with a smile.

"I thought you were with Amy?" Nate asked her looking around for any sight of the person he spoke of.

"Nope. She ditched me."

"Why?"

"Because you and I are behaving like kids fighting over a bubblegum."

"She said that?" Nate asked with a frown.

"Of course she didn't." Mia replied with an eyeroll.
