C12 Chapter 12: Left Behind

I don’t know what to think anymore.

My thoughts were a tangled mess, emotions colliding in ways I couldn’t control. I felt drained—empty—even though all I’d done was attend a party that never really needed me there in the first place.

I remembered he was in the same city, and right now, he was the only person I wanted to see
