C13 Jealousy
"Since Yujun entrusted her to you and you insist on taking care of her yourself, I have nothing more to say. But how about we take care of her together?"
Loong Yujun looked at Lu Jiameng's determined eyes. Though reluctant, he agreed with a hint of resignation.
The Loong and Lu families had been close for generations, and both had plans to strengthen their ties. Plus, he didn't mind Lu Jiameng, who was always sensible, so he accepted their relationship.
He knew Jiameng's personality well; once she set her mind on something, she would see it through no matter what.
Jiameng finally smiled with satisfaction, then took his arm and said, "Let's go in. I want to get to know her better."
As Jiameng and Yujun walked into the living room, Yih Tianxi's eyes immediately fell on their linked arms.
Jiameng offered a polite smile tinged with a bit of pride and said, somewhat distantly, "Hello, Tianxi. I'm Lu Jiameng."
Tianxi, however, didn't acknowledge Jiameng, staring instead at their arms with a displeased expression.
Yujun, noticing Tianxi's unhappy face, felt a bit uneasy. He cleared his throat and said softly, "Tian, Jiameng will be helping me take care of you from now on."
"Take care of me? I don't need it!" Tianxi frowned, her dark eyes full of accusation as she questioned, "Why do you let her hold onto you? Why don't you pull away?"
"I'm his girlfriend. Isn't it normal for me to hold him?" Jiameng narrowed her eyes, looking at Tianxi with a hint of hostility, tightening her grip on Yujun's arm as if to assert her claim. "He's told me about your situation."
"He's always been one to keep his promises. Since he wants to take care of you, I'll be helping him do just that."
In front of Yujun, she dared to give her attitude. Did she really think Tianxi was easy to bully? Trying to steal her man, was she? Well, Tianxi would make sure this vixen knew exactly whose man he was!
"You're lying! He's my fiancé, not your boyfriend!" Tianxi shot up from her chair, quickly moving to Yujun's side. She clung to his other arm, glaring at Jiameng with frustration.
"Your fiancé is already..." Jiameng began, her anger flaring at Tianxi's actions. She glared back, speaking without thinking.
"Jiameng!" Yujun's voice cut through her words, his dark eyes cold and warning. "Watch what you say!"
Tianxi had just been heartbroken over Su Heng yesterday, and today she was finally feeling a bit better. Yujun wouldn't allow anyone to upset her again, not even Jiameng.
Jiameng looked at Yujun with a hint of hurt, her lips moving as if to speak, but under his icy gaze, she stayed silent.
Seeing this, Tianxi flashed a triumphant smile. She pulled Jiameng's hand away from Yujun's arm and threw herself into his embrace, wrapping her arms tightly around him. In a soft, playful voice, she said, "You're mine, and I don't want anyone else touching you."
"I don't want to see her. Can you make her leave, please?"
