C3 A Female Thief Who Broke into a House
Lan Si's dad wanted money, and Jiang Weihee wanted people. From the looks of it, he was at a disadvantage, but it was actually killing two birds with one stone.
In these two years at the Zhenning Village, although he could not see it, he could still hear and feel it. All the people in the village were passionate, but that passion was nothing.
Jiang Weihee was also strong. When he first decided to come to Zhenning Village to live alone, he had already made plans that everything would go wrong due to his eyes being inconvenient and would be thwarted frequently.
Nothing was impossible to pass through. If he was able to survive alone in the land of tigers and wolves, standing firmly under the bloody wind and rain, what other difficulties would there be for him?
It was unknown how many cuts he had made on his hands. Because he could not see, the rice was often cooked half-cooked, but he never opened his mouth to beg anyone, and even more so, he was unwilling to expose his extremely weak and miserable appearance to others.
One night, however, a young thief broke into his house and hid himself in his yard over the top of the wall. He was startled to hear his footsteps.
Jiang Weihee was extremely alert, especially after his eyes went out of sight his ears became even better. Zhenning Village wouldn't have any bandits, so the person who came was most likely a carefree old man. What else could he do other than steal things at night?
He heard the sound and moved. In the vast darkness, the invisible man had an advantage over the visible man. He grabbed the "fur thief" by the arm and realized that the "fur thief" had a small skeleton.
"Who are you, trespassing in the middle of the night?"
The female thief's voice trembled, "I … "Don't worry, I'm not here to steal, I'm just here to hide. I'll leave in a bit."
These people stopped outside the door for a moment, cursing and swearing as if they were looking for someone. In the end, they hatefully said, "Let me capture this little girl, I'll definitely deal with her first, then I'll sell her before settling the debt!"
The female thief trembled, Jiang Weihee suddenly understood. She said to hide, it should be those people outside the house.
The sound of footsteps gradually drifted away. The female thief was relieved and thanked him. When she grabbed his hand to move it away, she was still extremely surprised when she saw the wounds on his hand. "Why are there so many wounds on your hand?"
Jiang Weihee did not answer and asked, "Who are you?"
Of course she wouldn't tell him, but she would tell him about the medicine and how he could live by himself if he couldn't see. They were all from the same village, so who wouldn't be able to help him if he asked for it? Why did he have to suffer this?
Judging from her tone and the way she said it, even if she didn't introduce herself, Jiang Weihee would probably be able to guess her identity.
In the middle of the night, she was being chased and hiding everywhere, and there were at least seven or eight people who heard her footsteps. Her tone was fierce, and her words also carried a sense of anger like that of a river; she should have been kicked in the door by bandits a long time ago.
That person just said he would sell her out. The village wasn't big, if he had the ability, he would offend these people. Besides Lan Yu, that bad gambler in the village, he really didn't care.
Lan Yu had a daughter. All the men in the village avoided her because they were afraid of encountering Lan Yu, the bottomless pit. After thinking about it, this female thief should be Lan Yu's daughter.
Lan Si was grateful and applied the medicine for Jiang Weihee. During the whole process, she kept nagging him about how to save the trouble of cooking. She told him how to boil the water without touching it.
Jiang Weihee knew that she was afraid that someone wouldn't be able to go far, so she didn't dare to go out. However, he wasn't in a hurry to chase her away.
