C6 CHAPTER 6

In another 2 months, the school year will end. I can’t believe I will go to prom and graduation with all my besties and boyfriend. I’M SO EXCITED. Time really flies so fast.

“Azzie, do you know what dress you’re gonna wear?” Asked Lulani. We’re currently walking to my locker. Saph waited for us at my locker.

“I don’t know. I think we should go shopping with Saph too. And please DO NOT ASK Govad to COME with us! We won’t be able to find any dress if he comes with us. He’s gonna criticize all of the dress.” I said while emphasizing important words.

Lulani laughed so hard, agreeing with me. “Hahaha. I know right. Oh, here comes your prince charming. Wait, he doesn’t look happy. I wonder what happened.” Said Lulani from annoyed to curious.

Gulping a little bit, I said to Lulani “You go first. I’ll meet you at my locker in a few minutes.” After Lulani left me, I took a deep breath to embrace Cliford’s wrath.

“YOU! You should've waited for me in the parking lot. Ugh, whatever. Anyway, I can’t take you home later. I got practice later. So, go find yourself someone who can take you home.” Cliford said harshly. After he said that, he walked away without giving me any chance to talk. THAT PIECE OF SHIT! HOW DARE HE TREATED ME LIKE THAT.

“Let’s go!” I said to Lulani and Seraphina pissed, not waiting for them.

“Okay. So, hmm, what happened? You look pissed.” Seraphina asked carefully. They already caught up with me.

“That piece of shit cannot take me home because he got practice. He said it so harshly. Who did he think he’s talking to? It’s totally fine, you know, if he said nicely. Ugh, he’s been so grumpy these past few weeks and I don’t know what has gotten into him. He always talked so sweetly before, but now he likes to snap at me.” I said sadly, confused, and angry.

“What in the world? How dare he talk to my bestie like that! I’m gonna beat his ass right now. And you cannot stop me!” Said Lulani forgetting that she had class to attend.

Raising one of my eye brows, I said “Thank you for having my back, Lu. But, I don’t think that is necessary. I just want to forget him for a while, finish school, and go home.”

“Oh, yeah I totally forgot I still have classes. I think I’m too fired up, heheh. Sorry. Anyway, I can take you home later. Wait for me at my locker at 3, sounds good to you? Wow, it’s been a while since I went to your house. Do you want to come to Saph?” Lulani asked Seraphina.

“I can’t. My aunt from Canada is coming today. My mom forced me to accompany her.” Said Seraphina, annoyed. “By the way, I’ll come with Lu if Clifton decides to hurt you.”

Awww, I was so happy to have friends like them. Forever grateful. So, I tackled them to the ground feeling overly thankful. Despite everyone judging attention, I stayed frozen on my spot embracing the moment.

“What the heck did you guys do on the ground?” Asked Lucero, weirdly. Of course, he decided to help Lulani first then me and Seraphina. I guess I should be grateful that he still remembers us in his love struck moment. Leaving both of them behind, me and Seraphina went to class first. Lucero’s coming with us, by the way. We all had the same class together. That’s why Lucero’s the one who found us in that weird condition.
