C32 Got burned by jealousy

Xi Xin got Yan Shen's attention and care after that incident with Ma Ban. Though he never confessed his thoughts but his actions proved that although he did not love her yet but cared about her. That was enough for her. Xi Xin had fallen for him when he first time saved her. But she was not sure about it that time. She thought she might have weakness for him because he saved her . She never seriously thought about it. She was also focusing to achieve her target for which she was sent to Yan Shen. Actually she was not here to start a relationship with Yan Shen but to destroy Yan group and harm the people of Yan family. Yan Shen was no exception.

But as Xi Xin was a little girl with not so much experience of life , she was puzzled. The kind of treatment she got from Yan Shen had soften her heart .Also the appearance and personality of Yan Shen were really fatal attractions for teenage girl like her. Xi Xin smart enough to only focus on her aim ,so did not want to muddle her head about all these.

She did not realise the truth how much she loved Yan Shen before When she saw today Feng Jin called him "Brother Shen" so intimately and tried to hold his hand ,a bee strung

in her heart heavily .It might be one sided love for him but what she wanted was only to be with him as many days as she could.

Xi Xin was thinking about these and the annoyance towards Yan Shen was slowly decreased . Suddenly she was interrupted by a shrill .When she came into reality she felt a terrible burning sensation in her hands and abdomen.

Su Ruxi already was cursing herself for not taking care and split the hot coffee on her unintentionally. Xi Xin not show any expression of pain rather she helped Su Ruxi to calm down .

At that moment Yan Shen came with Gu Meg in search of Xi Xin.When he saw the situation he was panicked .He took Xi Xin in his arms and rushed towards the lift as a maniac.Gu Meg followed him .They went to the nearby hospital . Throughout the way to the hospital Yan Shen continued to mutter" It will be alright, it will be alright." Gu Meg was astonished to see that Xi Xin was so calm and composed .She didn't show any feeling of pain rather Yan Shen was more concerned and panicked .

When they reached the hospital ,Yan Shen directly brought her to the emergency and shouted like a mad person. Gu Meg had already called Dr Qin , the family physician of Yan Shen.

When a person with salt and paper hair and white French cut beard came hurriedly and saw the situation Xi Xin's wounds were already taken care of by the doctors of this hospital.

Yan Shen already asked Gu Meg to arrange for a bed in VIP room.Yan Shen carried Xi Xin in his arm all The way from emergency to her bed .The wounds were already treated , and she was asked to not to touch water before the wounds got recovered. Even after he put her down in the bed Yan Shen still sat there and let Xi Xin lean her head on his chest. Doctor Qin had to check up Xi Xin again as Yan Shen ordered him. Under the cold and keen observation of Yan Shen gave her a thorough check up.

The burns were severe but not fatal. After proper medication and some days of rest it would be fine. Dr Qin also arranged for traditional Chinese medicine which after applying let the scars be erased too and heal her less than 5 days. The doctor was curious to see a girl with Yan Shen and the concern of Yan Shen about her. Who didn't know about Yan Shen's detest for women. But the situation was not favourable and Yan Shen's mood was terribly bad , so he could not gather courage to enquire about the girl. He kept his curiosity blocked in his heart.

When the doctor said them that they could take the patient home Yan Shen was relieved .He hold Xi Xin's hand and asked in a gentle voice" Still painful ?" Xi xin said in a indifferent voice "It's nothing."

When he felt the indifference in her voice Yan Shen was afraid of, as if she detached herself from him .

Yan Shen took Xi Xin's face in his palms and asked her "What happened? Are you still angry with me? I am sorry sweetie .I fail to take care of you." Xi Xin replied with a smile ."It's not the matter .I am habituated with this kind of pain from my childhood days. So there is nothing to worry about." Yan Shen as well as Gu Meg's heart ached. They understood how much perils she had to suffer in her past life.

Yan Shen boldly said "Honey what happened in the past I cannot undo it, but take revenge for you. But in future I assure you as my wife you will not suffer any more.", saying that his scooped her up in his arms and took her to the car.

Gu Meg raised the divider and Yan Shen let Xi Xin lean against his chest. He was so sorry for his little why her little wife .He caressed her hair and cheeks and kissed her on her forehead time to time. He said sorry again and and again.

At last Xi Xin could not take it anymore. she placed her finger on Yan Shen's thin red lips and said "It's ok .I am not angry with you anymore. I am not a child. I understand importance of the work . But these days you had givenso much indulgence to me that I become more greedy .But it's alright now."

Yan Shen smiled dotingly and said "My honey is so smart. I Treasure you ok . If you felt ever I let you down just scold me, hit me but never run away from me. You are my life, you know. So you are not allowed to hurt yourself ok."

Xi Xin was so touched by the sincere words of Yan Shen to her . It was like a confession. She smiled brightly and her yeard tooth was shown which made her more cute.

Yan Shen rubbed her head affectionately. He brought her to the office carrying her like a princess and laid her in the couch.

Xi Xin actually wanted to go to home or to take rest in the lounge .Gu Meg also thought so .But Yan Shen did not approve. He wanted to keep her under his keen observation .Behind him, already a mishap happened to her.He could not let his guard down anymore.

Xi Xin she was reclining in the couch with a pillow behind and eating strawberry flavoured pastries with relish. In between she looked at Yan Shen who was immersed in the documents time to time. It's really pleasure to see that god defying handsome man seriously doing work.

The snacks were taken away by the command of Yan Shen.Because they were spicy and Xi Xin was injured now .So she was forbidden even to touch them. She became bored and was not allowed to leave the place.
