C1 Invincible Cheating System!

"Holy crap, how could I have fallen asleep during the competition?"

Lin Xuan's consciousness snapped to attention. He had taken on a major gig! If he screwed it up, that would be the end of everything!

Once he was fully awake, he noticed something was off. Just a moment ago, he was definitely gaming remotely by his computer, but now he found himself lying on a bed made of hard wood. Even though he wasn't living the high life, he had always slept on several layers of mattress padding, soft as a Simmons. How did it change all of a sudden?

Had his place been robbed? And how desperate must the thief have been?

As Lin Xuan tried to get up, excruciating pain shot through his body, and he couldn't help but howl, "I was only playing a game. Why does it feel like I've been through a real fight?"

That's when he noticed his clothes had changed into ancient garb, like something straight out of a TV drama. The room too was furnished with old wooden tables and chairs, complete with a few candles on top.

"Did I... travel through time?"

Lin Xuan lay there, stunned, his mind a complete blank. Sure, he read novels and watched anime, daydreaming about one day crossing into another world, but that was all in his head. In the real world, he'd never believe such a thing.

Yet, here he was, it had actually happened to him.

He loathed his life. Since his youth, he'd been holed up in internet cafes gaming, believing he had a bit of talent. He joined a professional club hoping to make a name for himself, only to be constantly overshadowed by the veterans, treated like a mere errand boy. He eked out a living taking on side jobs as a gaming substitute.

But this time, a regular had offered him a big job subbing in a professional match. If he pulled it off, he'd be set!

Instead, after defeating the boss, he had passed out cold. Now, the job was totally botched.

"Young Master, you're awake!"

The door burst open, and a young woman dressed in a simple green robe, her figure shapely and her face the picture of innocence, stepped in, her voice laden with concern.

Lin Xuan instinctively responded, only to be met with a sudden, sharp pain in his head, prompting him to curse, "What kind of young master is this? Can a young master really be beaten to the point of being crippled?"

He had gone through a once-in-a-century transmigration, only to find himself in the body of a worthless young master. Lin Xuan lamented his rotten luck.

His origins were tragic, his life filled with hardships. The only silver lining was Qing Tan, a maid who had been with him since childhood. Yet this good-for-nothing young master was nothing more than a moocher, always cowering behind his maid. Was this what passed for a man?

"Young Master, you're finally awake."

Qing Tan was draped over him, her tears flowing as if she were mourning the dead.

"Enough, enough, Qing Tan, stop crying. Your tears alone could drown me," Lin Xuan said with a wry smile.

At his words, Qing Tan's tears turned to laughter, though she still pouted adorably.

Lin Xuan felt a twinge of consolation. Qing Tan's beauty could outshine any internet celebrity or star from his previous world. Having such a naturally stunning maid by his side was a small comfort, yet it was also tinged with bitterness. He had transmigrated into the body of a useless young master, reliant on a woman for protection, which was utterly humiliating.

From the memories of his predecessor, Lin Xuan learned that this body's original owner was also named Lin Xuan. He had been raised in the Lin family of Sky Star City, a branch disciple with no remarkable lineage. His parents, devoid of any talent for cultivation, were relegated to business and had perished in an accident. In contrast, he possessed exceptional talent for cultivation, reaching the fifth level of Spirit Cultivation by the age of seven, a prodigy in the family and even selected by the prestigious Weeping Blood Sect as a disciple. However, his fortunes turned during a trial in the Abyssal Forest, where he was betrayed by those closest to him, his meridians shattered, his dantian ruined, and his cultivation destroyed.

While Lin Xuan was not entirely sure of the gravity of such injuries for a martial artist, he knew from the novels he'd read that simply being alive in his current state was a stroke of luck.

Now relegated to the Servicemen's Courtyard, my days are filled with backbreaking labor, not to mention enduring constant insults and bullying. It's a life that's hard to put into words.

"Damn, is this what transmigration is like? I was better off playing video games at home!"

Lin Xuan wallowed in his misery, questioning if his life was really going to end so unceremoniously.

How great it would be if I could play games here. With my skills, I might not become world-famous, but I'd easily score a gold chain, a sleek watch, and enjoy three rounds of BBQ daily.

"Lin Xuan, are you awake yet? Get moving and start working!"

The door burst open as the overseer, Lee Fugui, barged in. Catching sight of Qing Tan, a glint of greed momentarily crossed his face.

"Deacon Lee, my young master has just awakened. Can't he have a moment's rest?" Qing Tan implored, her eyes brimming with tears, the very picture of distress.

Lee Fugui, swallowing hard, dismissed her plea, "No way. If there's a delay because of him, I can't shoulder the blame." His gaze shifted slyly, "Though, there might be a way... if you spend two days with me, hehe."

Qing Tan recoiled at Lee Fugui's lecherous demeanor, and a surge of anger rose in Lin Xuan. He stood up abruptly, startling Lee Fugui.

Lee Fugui, puffing up with indignation, bellowed, "What's this attitude? You think you're still some noble young master? You're nothing but trash now!"

"Trash?" Lee Fugui emphasized the word, his tone grating. Had he not been worried about upsetting his superiors, he would've already taught this upstart a lesson and taken his pleasure with the little maid.

"Young Master," Qing Tan expressed her concern.

"I'm fine. I'll go work."

Lin Xuan clenched his jaw, anger simmering within. He recognized the bitter truth: when under someone else's roof, you must bow your head. And Lee Fugui, being a Fourth Level Spirit Cultivator, could squash him as easily as an ant.

After going through the motions, sweeping and washing dishes, Lin Xuan managed to finish the menial tasks Lee Fugui had set for him and promptly collapsed onto the ground, exhausted.

When would there be an end to these grueling days?

"Daily tasks complete: gain 30 experience points, 20 health points, and 20 spiritual energy."

What the hell? Who's speaking?

Startled, Lin Xuan jolted upright, as did Qing Tan, who was nearby.

"Finished, have you?" Lee Fugui appeared out of nowhere.

Lin Xuan nodded instinctively, his mind still racing about the mysterious voice.

"Think you can rest just because you're done? Don't forget your place!" Lee Fugui barked without waiting for a response.

"Dinner's coming up. Get moving and slaughter that Armored Pig for me!" He pointed towards the cage outside and gave Lin Xuan a shove with his foot.

"No, Deacon Lee! The Armored Pig is a Demon Beast; the Young Master can't possibly kill it!" Qing Tan's face blanched at the mention of the beast, and she quickly interceded.

"If he won't kill it, are you volunteering?" Lee Fugui scoffed.

The Armored Pig was a low-tier Demon Beast, known for its docile nature but incredibly tough scales. When agitated, it could send a low-tier martial artist flying.

Pushed in front of the Armored Pig by Lee Fugui, Lin Xuan was taken aback. He had never seen a pig with such bronze-colored scales. Then he noticed a red streak on the pig's head.

As Lin Xuan hesitated, unsure of what to do, the voice rang out once more:

"Eliminate the Armored Pig. Reward: 50 health points, 100 experience points, 30 spiritual energy, and 20 spiritual energy."

Lin Xuan's heart skipped a beat. Was this actually like playing a game?

Holy shit!

Could this be the fabled system?
