C11 I Am Su Yu! Thank You Big Brother Healthy for Your Monthly Votes!!

Martial Artist Association.

Lau Kuang was seated in his office, his gaze fixed on the computer screen, a smile he couldn't quite hide playing on his lips.

"Ten years have passed, and thanks to that kid, we've finally drawn the envoy here. I'm curious to see how many in Hengcheng will catch their eye this time!"

Taking a deep breath, Lau Kuang, despite his role as Vice President of the Hengcheng Martial Artist Association, knew he wasn't quite up to par when it came to meeting the imminent visitor.

"That kid is truly a blessing in disguise!"

A broad grin spread across Lau Kuang's face. If Su Yu managed to garner the envoy's interest, it would significantly elevate his own standing.

In that moment, Su Yu's value in Lau Kuang's eyes soared.

Meanwhile, in the bustling hall of the Martial Artist Association, Su Yu, clad in a crisp white shirt, approached the counter with a serene air.

The receptionist, taken aback by Su Yu's youthful appearance, nonetheless greeted him with a practiced smile.

"Can I help you with something, young man?"

Su Yu replied coolly, "I need to speak with Vice President Lau."

The receptionist paused, clearly surprised. Lau Kuang was a prominent figure in the Martial Artist Association, second only to the enigmatic president himself. Even Hengcheng's elite had to schedule appointments to see him, given Lau Kuang's prowess beyond the Blood Refining Stage—a true heavyweight in Hengcheng.

Yet, the receptionist maintained her composure and professionalism, responding with a smile, "Do you have an appointment?"

A slight frown creased Su Yu's brow.

"No."

The receptionist nodded, as if expecting this answer.

"To meet Vice President Lau, you'll need to schedule an appointment. Shall I arrange one for you and let you know when he's available?"

Their exchange drew the attention of many Martial Cultivators passing by, some of whom couldn't help but scoff.

"In this day and age, it seems anyone thinks they can meet Vice President Lau. A kid who's barely wet behind the ears wants an audience with him? If he gets one, I'll eat my phone raw!"

The man let out a cold laugh, clearly holding Su Yu in utter contempt.

His fellow Martial Cultivators shared the sentiment, murmuring among themselves.

"This kid seems a bit out of place. So young, too. Doubtful he's even a Martial Cultivator. And he thinks he can meet with Lord Lau Kuang?"

"Let's be sure of ourselves and drop the 'doubtful'. The youngest Martial Cultivator in Hengcheng is what, in his twenties? This guy looks like he's still in high school. No way he's a Martial Cultivator."

Another shook his head in disagreement.

Su Yu stood at the counter, his brow furrowing slightly.

Lee Tianhe had broken the rules of the Martial Artist Association by attacking him, but given Lee Tianhe's clout in Hengcheng, Su Yu was all too aware that the Association's higher-ups wouldn't be able to inflict any real harm on him.

That's why Su Yu had turned to Lau Kuang.

What he hadn't anticipated was just how hard it would be to get an audience with Lau Kuang.

"What's all this commotion? The Martial Artist Hall isn't your lounge area. Disperse, now!"

Just then, a gruff voice boomed through the hall of the Martial Artist Association.

All eyes darted to the source of the sound.

A square-faced middle-aged man approached with swift, commanding steps.

"Director Zhou!"

"What's brought Director Zhou out here?"

The Martial Cultivators present were taken aback.

The director wielded the most power just below the president.

He rarely made public appearances, and yet, here he was, a director in the flesh.

Director Zhou's piercing gaze swept over the crowd like a blade before settling on Su Yu.

"Are you the one seeking an audience with President Lau?"

His voice was as robust as his stature suggested.

Su Yu nodded in confirmation.

"What issue requires President Lau's attention? Tell me, and I'll handle it for you," Director Zhou stated coolly.

Su Yu hesitated, then shook his head.

"You... won't suffice."

His words hung in the air, and a hush fell over the hall.

Disbelief etched on their faces, everyone stared at Su Yu.

"What's he saying? He's actually suggesting Director Zhou isn't up to the task?"

"Indeed. Remember, Director Zhou is not only one of the most powerful individuals under the presidents, but he's also a formidable force at the peak of the Blood Refining Stage. In all of Hengcheng, he's among the elite."

"Tsk tsk, this kid's really stepped in it, talking to Director Zhou like that. He's the first one bold enough to do so!"

There were sneers, schadenfreude, and scorn all around, all directed at Su Yu.

Director Zhou's expression turned icy.

As a head of the Martial Artist Association, he was unaccustomed to such brazenness.

He had harbored some fondness for Su Yu, but it evaporated the moment Su Yu's words hit the air.

Regardless of the issue's magnitude, it wasn't something to air publicly.

Yet, Director Zhou, known for his even temper, didn't take his irritation out on Su Yu.

Instead, he broke into a smile.

"It's been ages since I've come across such a fascinating young man here at the Association. I'm quite curious to see what sort of problem you believe I can't handle."

Director Zhou said, still smiling.

"I'll notify President Lau for you. But whether he chooses to come is beyond my control!"

Su Yu nodded in acknowledgment.

Still, he was uncertain if Lau Kuang would risk offending a heavyweight like Lee Tianhe in Hengcheng on his behalf.

If it came to it, he'd turn to Wu Ming.

As a student at No.1 High School, surely Principal Wu Ming wouldn't ignore the situation.

Lost in thought, Su Yu watched as Director Zhou pulled out his phone, ready to message Lau Kuang.

Being a supervisor, he had the means to reach out directly.

"By the way, what's your name? I need to let President Lau know who's asking for him."

"Su Yu!"

At the mention of his name, Director Zhou's pupils snapped into focus, his gaze locking onto Su Yu.

His breathing became labored.

"You're the Su Yu who's become a Martial Cultivator?"

Director Zhou's voice soared, echoing through the Martial Artist Association's hall.

In an instant, all eyes turned to Su Yu, and the once bustling hall fell into a hushed silence.
