C6 Lee's Group Lau Kuang's Shock!

Atop a towering structure in Hengcheng, four bold characters were emblazoned:

Lee's Group!

In Hengcheng, Lee's Group was a household name, commanding a whopping thirty percent of the city's Medicine Pill trade.

That's precisely why Lee Hu had earned VIP status at Xincheng Pharmacy.

Currently, in the highest room of Lee's Group headquarters, a middle-aged man with a stern countenance was eyeing Lee Hu and Lee Loong.

His gaunt fingers were rhythmically tapping on the tabletop.

"So, you're telling me... you picked a fight with a student who might be a Martial Cultivator?" he inquired.

Lee Loong's voice shook as he replied, "Father, I had no idea he was a Martial Cultivator. He's in the same class as my younger brother. Even though they're both seniors, I've never heard of him at school."

The man before them was none other than their father, Lee Tianhe.

"Father, you must help us. I can't bear the thought of spending my next life locked away in the Martial Artist Prison!"

The Martial Artist Prison was a facility established by the Martial Artist Association for the incorrigible Martial Cultivators.

Every inmate was a notorious criminal.

And if Su Yu were indeed a Martial Cultivator, a mere word to the Martial Artist Association would suffice to incarcerate Lee Loong, even as a Quasi Martial Cultivator, for eternity.

No one ever leaves the Martial Artist Prison!

The dignity of a Martial Cultivator was sacrosanct, an unbreakable edict throughout all of Great Xia.

It was a rule that no one dared to breach.

Lee Tianhe's brow furrowed deeper, his finger tapping persistently, as he remained silent.

Neither Lee Loong nor Lee Hu dared to interrupt their father's contemplation.

Time passed, and Lee Tianhe's face settled into a mask of icy detachment.

"Someone come!"

With a swift motion, a figure materialized beside Lee Tianhe.

"Chairman!"

The figure stood at attention, a picture of deference.

Lee Tianhe spoke with measured indifference, "Head to the Martial Artist Association and wait. If Su Yu emerges, report back immediately. If he fails to become a Martial Cultivator, handle it yourself."

"Yes, Chairman," the man nodded in acquiescence, then paused briefly, "Chairman, what if Su Yu does become a Martial Cultivator?"

"If he becomes a Martial Cultivator..."

A surge of murderous intent flashed in Lee Tianhe's eyes.

"We must kill him, but we'll have to be more discreet about it."

"Father!"

Lee Loong and Lee Hu stared at their father, stunned.

It's a known fact that a Martial Cultivator must never be dishonored, yet their father was contemplating the assassination of one!

Lee Tianhe glared at his sons, his anger palpable.

"What are you staring at? If it weren't for your sake, do you think I'd risk so much to take out a Martial Cultivator?"

Lee Tianhe barked in fury.

"The Martial Artist Association might be aware that you've challenged Su Yu, but with a Martial Cultivator gone and the Lee Family's clout in Hengcheng, they'll likely turn a blind eye."

With that, Lee Tianhe gave a dismissive glance to the figure beside him.

The figure nodded and vanished from the office.

...

Meanwhile, at the training grounds, a digital display lit up on a massive machine.

0.1!

0.2!

The numbers climbed steadily with the passage of time.

Lau Kuang joined Wu Ming, hands clasped behind his back, and spoke in a cool tone.

"The Blood Essence Value test is straightforward; anyone brave enough to try can pass. The real question is what levels they'll reach in the strength and speed tests."

Wu Ming responded with a grin.

"As long as he qualifies as a Martial Cultivator, given his age, he'll certainly gain access to that place!"

Lau Kuang gave Wu Ming a meaningful look before breaking into a smile.

"Indeed."

The two then turned their attention back to the screen.

Suddenly, the display leaped to 1!

"He did it!"

A slight smile played on Lau Kuang's lips.

"The kid definitely has talent."

Shortly after, Su Yu emerged from the machine, having been drained of his Blood Essence Value by the device's relentless mechanical tendrils.

"Su Yu, over here!"

Lau Kuang beckoned.

Su Yu quickly approached.

"Now that you've passed the Blood Essence Value test, let's see how you fare with strength!"

Su Yu nodded and faced the next apparatus.

It resembled a monolithic stone tablet, its dark surface etched with numerous fist marks.

"To be recognized as a true Martial Cultivator, you must exhibit a strength of at least 1,000 kilograms, or one ton. Are you prepared?"

Lau Kuang spoke with a grave tone.

Su Yu inhaled deeply. Truth be told, he was clueless about the extent of his own strength, since there were no specialized instruments at home to measure it.

So, it was up to fate.

Yet, reaching a Blood Essence Value of 1,000 kilograms of force didn't seem too daunting.

Standing before the strength-testing device, Su Yu primed himself to peak condition and charged up his right hand.

Then...

He thrust forward!

Boom!

A series of thunderous noises followed.

The stone tablet was now marred with fine cracks.

And on the display, a figure flashed.

1,823 kilograms!

The emergence of the number made Lau Kuang and Wu Ming's eyes widen in disbelief.

"1,800 kilograms!"

They exchanged a glance, each recognizing the other's astonishment.

What did it mean for someone freshly initiated into the Martial Cultivator realm to unleash a force of 1,800 kilograms?

Lau Kuang drew in a breath, his eyes filled with envy as he regarded Wu Ming.

"You've found a gem at your school. It looks like Hengcheng is about to make its mark."

Wu Ming's face was beaming at this point.

Su Yu, observing his newfound power, pondered.

"Could it be the effect of those Medicine Pills?"

He was well aware that his natural talent wasn't top-tier, but he had an ace up his sleeve – the golden finger.

The Medicine Pills crafted in the Synthesis Column were of exceptional quality, enhancing not only his Blood Essence Value but subtly boosting his strength as well!

In that moment, Su Yu grew even more eager for the Bone QRefining Pill he'd take later that evening.

Before long, Su Yu approached the third machine, this one for speed testing.

Lau Kuang instructed,

"Just get on and run at full tilt for a minute. Hit twenty meters per second, and you've passed."

Su Yu nodded, a glint of excitement in his eyes.

The pills had amplified his strength; perhaps they had also enhanced his speed?

The machine whirred to life, and Su Yu bolted, pouring every ounce of effort into the sprint.

The minute flew by.

As Su Yu stepped off, panting and looking at the screen, a smile crept across his face.

"43m/s!"

The number sent Lau Kuang and Wu Ming reeling.

"This kid..."

Lau Kuang inhaled sharply, awestruck.

As the Vice President of the Hengcheng Martial Cultivator Association, it had been decades since he'd witnessed a newcomer to the Martial Cultivator Realm achieve such remarkable results. His expression turned grave as he addressed Wu Ming.

"We must ensure this young man's safety. I'll notify the appropriate authorities to arrange a special test for him!"

Wu Ming's eyes sparkled with understanding, and he promptly nodded his assent.

Looking at Su Yu, his eyes brimmed with a newfound sense of expectation.
