C2 02

-We don't meet people by accident,they are meant to cross our paths for a reason-

I sat on the sofa and grabbed the remote which was left on the table. I switched on the TV and replaced the remote .I looked at the mug which I kept on the table with a smile .This mug was gifted to me by my mother on my fifteenth birthday.

I moved the mug close to my lips to have a sip but I finished the whole thing with one gulp .I placed the mug on the table and looked at the TV when I heard 'It's back'.

"No one in this house watches TV,that's crazy .Are they humans", I questioned to myself.

I raised my legs up and sat on the sofa. It's a hard task for me to keep my feet placed on the floor while sitting for a long time.

While I was watching the cartoon Amy arrived. She sat next to me and looked at me creepily .I slowly moved my legs down and turned towards her with a slight smile.

"Sit as a girl Anna", she requested me angrily.

OH GOD not again my ears aren't ready to hear any more lectures, even though she's not an accomplished girl.

While Anna was watching a cartoon with Amy a person came into the scene .A guy with jet black hair where a few strands were falling over his forehead walked downstairs. Anna looked at him with astonishment which made her question Amy immediately.

"Who's he? "Anna questioned by wrinkling her forehead.

"Jackie", Amy replied smiling.

Amy thought that Jackie would be a stranger to Anna but it wasn't. They had met already.

"Really! He's Jon's youngest brother", Anna replied sarcastically.

Before Amy could reply, mom called her. Therefore she left the hall immediately. Jackie got downstairs and walked towards the center of the sitting room(hall) where the sofas were placed .He sat on the single sofa and looked at the remote which was on the table. Abruptly Jackie took the remote and changed the channel immediately with a smirk. He kept his right leg over his left where his foot was on his knee .He replaced the remote without taking his sight away from the TV.Anna glared at him for a moment and she took the the remote after a while .She changed the channel and smiled weirdly at Jackie, which made him mad .Anna placed the remote on her lap and continued to watch the TV .Jackie starred her without a blink, Anna knew that he was starring but she didn't care about it .Abruptly Jackie grabbed the remote which was kept on her lap but Anna caught the remote before he took hold of it. Anna was holding the remote from one corner and Jackie did from the other .Both got up from their seat by holding the remote.

"FOOTBALL", shouted Jackie.

"CARTOON", shouted Anna.

Amy immediately came into the scene because of the noise

"Anna! ''What the hell are you doing?"Amy questioned, walking towards her. "Anna, do you remember what I told you?"

Anna turned towards Amy and looked at her for a second and looked back at the remote and she pulled the remote with great force which made Jackie to come a step forward but he didn't let go.

"It's all him", Anna replied by pulling the remote" It's because of him I couldn't buy that book and he wasted my pocket money."

"What book? What money", Amy questioned curiously" What are blabbering Anna?"

"OH GOD", Anna caught the remote tightly and continued "Do you remember that I had a problem in the bookshop, saying that when I took hold of that book another person did .That other person is this one there was only one book left .Therefore we were pulling the book by holding the opposite sides and finally the book came into two. I couldn't read nor buy that book but I paid for it."

Jackie pulled the remote to his side which made Anna move a step forward, he looked at her with a smile and said" Even I paid not only you!"

"OKAY", shouted Amy with irritation.

Mom was quiet in the kitchen like she knew nothing.

"OH MY GOD", mom whispered while washing the dishes.

"Yeah the fault is on her", said Jackie.

"No the fault is on him"

"Shut up I'm the one who took the book first"

"Can you both shut up?"yelled Amy, losing her temper. "Anna give the remote to Jackie", Amy ordered .Anna turned towards Amy with a pity face. "Behave yourself", Amy continued.

"YEAH", Jackie said with a broad smile.

Anna immediately turned towards Jackie and said "shut up" with a loud voice.

The very next second Jackie took sight off Anna and turned around because he heard mom.

"What's happening here?"Mom asked curiously.

Mom walked towards Jackie and stood in front of him.

"Jackie gave the remote to Anna", Mom ordered roughly which made Jackie to take his hands off the remote.

Anna took the remote with a broad smile where her mouth spread to the max.

"Anna gave the remote to Jackie". Amy ordered which immediately erased her smile on her face.

Therefore, Anna gave the remote to Jackie and he took it with a smile as Anna's .Mom glared at Jackie, so he showed the remote back to Anna but she didn't take it because she knew that Amy will be mad at her if she does. Both looked at each other confused .They didn't know what to do .Jackie replaced the remote on the table and they walked away together. Both walked up stairs together with an arm's length distance .Both slammed their room door together .Anna leaned behind the door and curled her eyebrows.

"Why is his room opposite to mine", she questioned herself angrily.

Anna walked towards her bed as a tortoise and she sat on the bed slowly where the mattress wouldn't have felt it. The surrounding was in pin drop silence but it did not exceed more than fifteen minutes because Jackie broke the silence.

"It was all because of you", Jackie shouted from his room where Anna could hear it clearly.

"All because of me? It was all because of you .Only you. "Anna shouted back.

"Are you stupid, still watching cartoon as a kid", Jackie replied aloud.

"fool", Anna replied aloud.

"Idiot"

"crazy"

"insane"

"Jerk"

"You're a monster"

"SHUT UP"

"You shut up"

"I hate you"

"I never told you that I love you"

"Even I didn't"

"You are .............."

" Both shut up please", Grandpa yelled before Jackie could complete his sentence.

Jackie and Anna rushed out of their room immediately and stood beside Grandpa. Jackie was standing next to his right shoulder and Anna was standing to his left .

"I'm sorry", cried Anna.

"I'm sorry,'' cried Jackie.

Grandpa turned towards Anna and smiled at her which created a smile on Anna's too. Then he turned towards Jackie with a rough look which made Jackie smile.

"It's time for lunch", called mom.

Therefore grandpa left immediately .Jackie and Anna were glaring at each other after grandpa was removed from between.

"You are a monster", Jackie commented with a smirk.

"I am a monster ,I am a monster", Anna asked by pointing at herself.

"Yes you are. That's what I said now", Jackie replied calmly.

"You are a jerk", Anna said immediately after Jackie was done with his sentence.

He kept a step forward and looked at Anna's face.

"May you stop using the same words again. Don't you know any other words to yell at me or DO YOU NEED MY DICTIONARY?", Jackie replied calmly with a smile.

"URGH I'm leaving", she screeched and walked downstairs immediately.

Anna stood behind the chair .She looked at me because she was staring at her.

"Sorry for the delay", Anna whispered and sat next to her.

After a few seconds Jackie entered the dining room.

"Why are you late", mom questioned by pouring water to the glass from the jug.

"ohhhhhhhhhhhhh I mmmmh",Jackie murmured by rubbing the back of his neck.

"Enough murmuring . Sit", Jon said smiling.

Mom smiled at Jackie which made him feel shy. He walked towards the chair by looking at the white tiled floor. He sat next to Jon, which was opposite Anna.

Anna rubbed her palms together and moved forward to get the jug which contained juice .She raised the jug from the table then she got up from her seat by holding the jug .She tried to take the glass which was at the centre of the dinning table .She was holding the jug with her right hand and got her left palm close to the glass but Jackie grabbed the glass before she did.

"Give me the glass", Anna screeched by standing straight.

"Give me the jug", screeched Jackie

"I can't, you give me that", Anna screeched back.

"No! You give me that", Jackie screeched.

"May you both stop screeching", screeched mom.

"Give me the jug,'' Jackie whispered, looking at mom.

"Give me the glass," Anna whispered by moving forward.

"NO I can't", Jackie replied by turning towards her.

Jackie replaced the glass on the table and moved forward .He caught the jugs circumference and pulled it towards him with a smile and said "Give me". Anna pulled it towards her and said" I can't".

Everyone was looking at them without eating except for Jon, he fed the food into his mouth, then he looked at Anna and Jackie by chewing it.

"STOP", yelled grandma by losing her temper which made both to take their hands off the jug .Jackie and Anna looked at grandma without noticing what happened to the jug .Everyone was looking at grandma because she doesn't scream usually .Jon was looking at grandma with another mouth full of food.

The jug settled horizontally on the table where the lid was open and the juice was flowing around at the centre of the table.

"Oops I'm sorry I'll clean it up", Anna said by keeping her four fingers on her lips.

"That's okay dear .The maid will clean it up", mom replied softly.

"I'm sorry too ",Jackie said softly by lowering his voice.

"Jackie I have to talk to you", mom replied by staring at him.

"Oh no ",he said to himself because he knew that mom was going to lecture him.

Anna knew that Amy was about to tell the same dialogue which mom said .Therefore she left the dining room immediately. Anna walked in her room lazily, she locked the door and went to bed because she was sleepy from waking up early.
