C9 Chapter 9 Raid

In the morning

One of the guards knocked on Tatsuo's door and said "Lord, Captain Rota had arrived."

"Ok tell them to go here"

After a while Rota and Ragnar entered the room and Tatsuo was already sitting on his bed. "Your fast Rota I didn't expect that you is this fast it's not even a day"

"Your Highness you forgot that I'm from Toria I am familiar in this place" Rota humbly replied

"Oh yes! I forgot about that, so how about their whereabouts?" Tatsuo asked

The atmosphere in the room becomes serious "Your Highness there is a small village in south of Yoroi. I have a friend that went there before so I confirmed it is there headquarters. And there is about 100 - 200 people there, and their strength is about Level one Mortal Ground to level one Sky Gate,but I don't know their master strength or any hidden strength. But I am confident to annihilate them there just a bunch of trashy people!" Rota reported

" Good work Rota. How many days of travel till we get there?" Tatsuo asked

"About 20 to 25 days my Prince" Rota replied

Tatsuo stood up and said "prepare everything we will leave tonight!"

"Yes your Highness" they bowed and left

They prepared their Weapons, Armor, Shield, and they bought 21 war horses. At night they leave the town, Old kie looked at the back of Tatsuo and thought " I will not disappoint you my Prince, I will forge this Town to be a City!"

22 days after

In the small village south of the Yoroi City, in the middle the night. Two people guarding the gate of the village.

Hiss

Arrows hit their head without knowing how they die. Dozens of people entered the village and they start killing people and also burning their houses, some people in the village started to fight but they are overpowered by their enemies.

A young man entered the village with a Giant and Knight at his back. "My Prince you are a genius. You have a think of this godly strategy. We can wipe them up at this stage." Rota praising Tatsuo, When they are traveling from Harbor Town Tatsuo proposed a plan to them because they trusted him they directly agreed

"Rota, Ragnar, join them" Tatsuo command them

They bowed and joined the others that was fighting

Boom!

Someone was sent flying and it land in front of him. He looked at the person how was laying in front of him it was one of his guards. At the same moment he felt an aura of a 3 level of Sky Gate Realm. Tatsuo looked in the direction of the aura and he saw a man holding a sabber, long hair, and a face like a lion.

The man didn't say anything, he directly charged Tatsuo with his sabber to Tatsuo.

Tatsuo grabs his sword and blocks the attack. Because of the power of the man Tatsuo move backward "damn! you're quite strong, and lucky because I want to fight in long time" the aura of Sovereign Burst Realm burst out around Tatsuo

The man widened his eyes in shock because he thought that this kid is weak and easy to defeat, he never thought this kid is stronger than him. He didn't hesitate, he quickly ran but Tatsuo hands reached and grabbed him on the back of his neck and Tatsuo threw him on the ground. "You cannot ran lucky man" a ugly smile appears on Tatsuo's face

The man scared that he almost peed his pants he immediately beg Tatsuo "please don't kill me I am willing to be your slave"

Tatsuo laughed coldly after a while he stopped and asked the man "Hey to make sure I will ask you. Are you the Master of this group?

"Yes sir I am, I will do…." He did not finish his word because Tatsuo already cut through his Neck. Tatsuo took the head and raised it and shouted "your Master's head is cut by me if you don't want to be like him. Please surrender or else we will kill all of you tonight!" The Aura of Sovereign Burst burst out, all of them felt cold in their spine including Tatsuo's subordinate. The people from Iron Slavery Company felt discouraged they don't have a chance to fight even escape, Tatsuo's subordinate is grateful that they don't have an enemy like their Master.

One by one they dropped their weapons and kneeled down. Tatsuo's Guards acted they guided the bandits in the center of the village and they released the captives. Tatsuo personally guarded the Bandits

After three to five hours Rota and Ragnar came with they reports, Rota reported "Sir Reporting we have 80 captives and 125 killed, among who died is their Master whom you killed, Right hand whom Ragnar killed, Offence Adviser who was burned, a Commander, 3 Captains, 20 wanted criminals. For the Captives, we captured the Defense Adviser, a Commander, 6 Captains, and many wanted criminals." He paused for a moment and sadly said "And also Sir we lost 2 men"

Tatsuo clinched his fist as a soldier in his previous life he lost a lot of brothers and subordinates but everytime that this happened he always felt sad and regretful. Life of his man is precious to him.

He said "We will have Burning Ceremony after we are done, also send someone to bring their ashes to their families, and …" he hesitated after he think again " give their families 300 gold coins each and bring a message that I will personally visit them and apologize after my errands" after a few casual talk Rota move backward to give Ragnar a space to report.

"Reporting sir total of 109 prisoners, 34 of them are the villagers of this village, 3 half-giants, 13 half elves, 4 elves, 10 Dwarves, the rest are humans, also Sir more than half of them are kids about 10 - 17 years old. The 3 half-giants want to join us, 10 half elves and 2 elves also want to join us." He is about to conclude his report but he remembers something "Oh! I almost sir one of the prisoners is a former noble woman"

"Interesting. Bring her to me after our Burning Ceremony." Tatsuo answered

"Yes Sir" Ragnar move backward

Tatsuo is sitting as if he was thinking but the truth is he is just tired because of the travel and the raid.

After a while he looked at Ragnar and Rota an said "send six of our men to bring the prisoners to the Harbor Town and tell Old kie to help this people if they want to stay to start a new life or go back to their hometown, for those who want to join us give them weapons and guard this bandits I'll talk to them tomorrow" after he said that he stood up and walked "Find me a compostable place to rest, and Let's go we will offer a Burning Ceremony for our lost brothers" he directly headed to the place of the Ceremony that is prepared by his man. He didn't waited for Rota and Ragnar to answered

Burning Ceremony Tatsuo looked at the burning body with a teary eyes
