I wanted to smile, jump up and down and scream with joy at the time, but I had to restrain myself so as not to look weird.

But I was so happy.

When he walked in, I took my time admiring the handsome guy he was from head to toe.

He let out a "good night" and the sound of his voice echoed like a melody.

- Good evening," I replied with a shy smile.

He looked around the room and said:

- BRAYAN: Wow, I see we have guests!

Stella laughed before adding:

- STELLA: Haha yes yes! We didn't expect anyone before we got here, but well...

- Okay, he replied before looking at me from head to toe.

Then, he looked at Victoire with a surprised air and asked her:

- BRAYAN: Victoire, who is this?

This time I didn't let anyone answer for me. I took the lead:

- I'm Brenda.

He turned around and looked at me.

He saved my number in his phone and he sent me a message "Brayan" to save his and I did it without wasting a single second.

It was already 5:40pm and I was not allowed to stay out of the house after 6pm.

So I sent a message to Stella who was sitting in the same room as me to tell her that we had to leave.

When she read my message, she gave me a look and told Victoire and Brayan my crush:

Brayan was concentrating on his phone when I slipped him one:

I flashed a slight smile as I looked at him.

He lifted the TV and our eyes met.

I was ecstatic! What beautiful eyes he had!

Victoire came out of the house with Stella and I to see us off and two minutes later she went back into her house.

It was already 5:44pm and I decided to walk a little with Stella to talk about what had just happened.

My house was right next door so I knew that before 6pm I would be home.

I was so excited and jumping for joy as I was on my way... People were walking by and looking at us.

- STELLA: Calm down! She said, laughing.

- Me, calm down? Only God can calm me down now by taking my life! No, but thank you very much! Just imagine if you didn't know him, I would look for him everywhere in Yaoundé!!!!

Yaoundé, the political capital of Cameroon was the city where I lived at the time, in the Emana district.

She really liked headbands. She put them on her head and in the neighborhood, those who didn't know her name just had to say "the girl who likes headbands" to be told that her name was "Stella".

She was the only girl who wore them and she had them on all the time...

I laughed.

- I have to go home too.

We were very young at the time and our families watched us a lot but we had a little bit of freedom because we could go out once in a while and come home even if we had to be home by 6:00.

I said goodbye to Stella and each of us went our own way.

I must admit that when I arrived home, I went straight to my room. I laid down on my bed and hoped with all my heart that Brayan would send me a message.

I want to note that I didn't have anything to do that day like doing homework or studying for example since it was Friday I had to take advantage of this beautiful weekend that had just started to rest and enjoy life.

Anyway, even if it had been a Monday or a Tuesday, I wouldn't have felt the need to study since I didn't need to do so to get good grades.

I retained my lessons directly in class when the teachers explained them so I didn't need to study later... And I want to note that I was first in my class!

So that night, I waited for him to write to me but he didn't until I was asleep.

At around 8pm I woke up and saw that I had received lots of messages.

I looked to see if Brayan had written to me but he hadn't. I wanted to write to him but I couldn't.

I wanted to write to him but I didn't know what to say and at the same time I was afraid... afraid of looking like an easy girl so I clutched my heart and I didn't send him anything even though I was burning to do it.

Later, I was called to go get dinner but I refused because just seeing Brayan and getting his number had already filled my stomach.

While hoping that he would write to me, I chatted with my friends via text message when suddenly I received a message from him: "You've arrived safely"?

There was no such thing as a happier person than me at that time!

I got out of bed, put a song in my phone and started dancing like crazy and when I finished I answered him: "I'm home, thank you. Are you ok?
