C20 Double Kill Achievement

"You haven't even left the house today, yet you're already speaking nonsense and showing no respect for your elders. If you were to marry like this, people would surely mock me for not raising you properly. Today, I'll teach you some manners!" The South Suppressing King finished speaking and took a few large steps toward Liyuv, his expression cold and severe. He raised a ruler, ready to strike her, and the force would surely leave a shocking welt.

Seeing his swift action, Liyuv clicked her tongue and deftly sidestepped, watching with a smile as the King swung at empty air and lost his balance, falling face-first to the ground.

Subtly retracting her foot, Liyuv exaggeratedly covered her mouth in mock surprise, "Oh my, Your Grace, are you alright? I haven't even left yet, and you're already giving me such a grand gesture. I really can't accept it!"

Though she said this, she didn't move an inch, her mischievous gaze making the King's face turn a deep shade of red with anger.

"You insolent girl! You, you, you! I'll beat you to death today!" The King struggled to get up, but Liyuv discreetly placed her foot on the hem of his robe. Just as he was about to rise, he felt a tug at the back of his garment and fell flat on his face once more.

Liyuv quickly moved aside, pretending to look up at the ceiling. The South Suppressing King knew she was behind the mischief, his hand trembling as he pointed at her, lips quivering like someone with Parkinson's, unable to utter a word before he rolled his eyes and fainted completely.

All this happened in just a few breaths. Su Que and Bai Mengci stood frozen, unable to react, while the servants in the hall kept their eyes down, pretending not to see anything, fearing that even a glance might bring disaster upon themselves.

"Your Highness!"

"Father!!"

Su Que and Bai Mengci finally snapped out of it, rushing to the South Suppressing King's side, frantically calling for servants to carry him back to his room. Before leaving, they shot a fierce glare at Liyuv. Su Que, with a delicate handkerchief, dabbed at nonexistent tears at the corners of her eyes, looking at Liyuv with a gaze full of heartbreak. "You've angered His Highness to the point of fainting today. Such a grave mistake, I can't defend you anymore. Someone, take the young lady to the ancestral hall to kneel and await His Highness's decision!"

Two sturdy women responded loudly, approaching Liyuv with malicious grins. "Miss, if you please!"

Liyuv: "...Could you stop laughing like that? It feels like you're planning to kidnap me." She tugged at her collar, looking a bit uneasy.

The two women’s expressions turned sour, like they were constipated. "Miss, if you don't behave, don't blame us for being rude!"

"How boring," Liyuv muttered, rolling her eyes as she strode out of the main hall. She had no idea where the family shrine was, nor did she intend to kneel there. She headed straight back to her room instead.

She hadn't gone far when the two women blocked her path, looking stern. "Miss, the shrine isn't in that direction."

Liyuv looked genuinely surprised. "Shrine? Who said I was going to the shrine?"

The women looked displeased. "Miss, the lady of the house instructed you to go, so please don't defy her orders."

Liyuv grinned mischievously. "Oh, you want me to go to the shrine? Beg me, and maybe if I'm in a good mood, I'll consider it."

The two women exchanged glances and moved to grab her. Liyuv’s smile turned icy as she swiftly jabbed a silver needle into their necks. In the next moment, the two women rolled their eyes and fainted to the ground.
