There was a small hill about 10 miles to the right of Agamemnon's tent. In the plains outside the city, this hill was unique. It was covered with dense red pine trees. At the top of the hill was a flat open area. A group of bored soldiers were leaning against a pile of fodder, yawning from time to time.
