C5 A Monk Lives Here

When Wen Yue saw her sticking her head out, he automatically understood that she was curious about what she saw. She knew that she was just a cat, but she was still whispering the names of these places and what they were used for.

He spoke very carefully, and Qing Wu also listened carefully. Occasionally, she would call out softly, as if she was responding to him.

When they walked to a bamboo forest, Qing Wu suddenly felt a wave of spiritual energy. She was shocked and turned her head to look in that direction. What she saw was a small building hidden behind the bamboo forest.

"Meow?" What was that place for? Does anyone live there? She looked at Wen Yue and pointed in that direction with one of her claws, shouting at him.

Wen Yue held her claw in his hand and rubbed it gently. He looked up at the small building hidden behind the bamboo forest and his eyes darkened. The interest in his tone suddenly faded, as if he did not want to talk about the small building.

"Don't go to the place where a monk lives. He won't like you. " Wen Yue carried her and walked in another direction.

Qing Wu heard that it was a place where a monk lived and was slightly stunned. She stuck her head out and looked behind Wen Yue. After Wen Yue turned around, the small building was no longer there. She then retracted her body.

If the person who lived there was a monk. . . Then the matter of the spirit energy would be explained clearly. Even if Wen Yue didn't say it, she wouldn't go there easily. Even if she was a Spirit Cat and didn't have the so-called demonic aura, she still didn't like dealing with people like them.

Wen Yue did not know what Qing Wu was thinking. He carried her and walked slowly. However, because of the small building, the interest was still somewhat diluted. After walking for a while, he carried her to a pavilion in the middle of the lake.

"I'm tired, I'm not leaving. " Wen Yue placed her on the stone table. He supported his head with one hand and said with half closed eyes. There was a slight tiredness in his eyes.

Just walking around like this seemed to have consumed a lot of his mental energy.

Qing Wu stood up and walked to the side of the stone table. She tilted her head and looked at it. With a light leap, she landed on the ground. She jogged to the side of the pavilion and jumped onto the seat next to her. Her front claws rested on the guardrail and she stuck her head out to look at the lake.

This lake was not deep and there were no lotus leaves or anything like that. Just by looking at the surface of the water, one could see the pebbles at the bottom of the lake and many fish swimming around.

Qing Wu lied on the railing and counted carefully. There were a total of 17 fish, all about the same size. One was just enough for her to eat a meal.

There was a waterfall in the valley where she and her master lived. Under the waterfall was a pond. The pond flowed out of the valley and formed a small stream. The water there was also very clear. There were many fish inside, big and small, and they all carried a certain amount of spiritual energy.

Qing Wu had always coveted the fish there. Unfortunately, her master was too strict with her. Every time she wanted to secretly eat a fish, her master would catch it in time.

This had always been a great regret in her heart. Qing Wu felt that the main reason why she had failed in her tribulation was actually because she had yet to worry about something. As long as she could successfully eat the fish in the pond, perhaps she would be able to overcome her inner demons. If the tribulation was successful, why would it need to be like what her master had said? She had specially come to the Ruo Fu Mountain just to find that ancient divine artifact, the Ruofu Blade.

A saber could help her in her tribulation? Qing Wu was somewhat doubtful, but because these words were spoken by her master, she came.

Now that she looked at the fish in the lake, Qing Wu wanted to eat the fish in the valley. Then she could at least eat the fish here.

Probably because Qing Wu's appetite was too obvious, the fish in the lake swam to the other end of the lake and stayed away from the pavilion.
