C4 Blooming friendship

Friday morning before classes started, the boys and their friends were hanging out on the seats if the football field. Other students were also hanging out there. Carter came over to them and said, "hey guys, so my parents went out for the weekend so I'll be throwing a party at my house and all seniors are invited. Party starts at 8:00pm. He immediately run off to the next group of friends. "Well he's in a hurry", Kyra said. Just then the bell rang and it was time for class to being. As they were walking to their classes, Emily came up to Bryce asked him if he would come to the party. Bryce replied, "well I'll have to ask Charles first, why do you asked". Emily said," no reason, I just wanted to know". They walked together to biology class. Mr Michaels who was both the biology teacher and also Kyra, Cashel and Conner's father asked the students to partner up. Bryce partnered up with Emily, Zane partnered up with Katherine, and Cashel partnered up with Kyra.

A few minutes later, the class is silent. Zane starts to flirt with Katherine. Katherine tries to ignore him and focus on the work given to them but couldn't. "Zane, you've been flirting with me ever since we met for the first time, stop it. I'm not interested in you", Katherine said angrily. Zane started blabbering about how cool he is but Katherine continued to ignore him until Mr Michaels called up to him and told him to pipe down and focus. Katherine whispered to herself "finally". Zane wrote on a piece of paper and crumbled it then threw it at Bryce. Bryce picked it up, opened it and read it, "I'm gonna end you if I see you at the party". Emily asked, "we've already taken him down once right"? Bryce replied, "yeah and I'll do it again". "Don't hurt him too much okay", Emily requested. Bryce nodded. Emily smiled and continued the work. Kyra turned and asked Jason if he'd be at the party. Jason replied with a straight forward no. Carter was sitting next to him so he heard. "Why won't you come", Carter asked. Kyra and Carter tried convincing him but he still said no. Jason was a straight forward guy, but ever since school reopened he had been more quiet and much more distant than usual.

School's over and they all go to the mansion. They went inside and saw Charles holding some old looking books going to the basement, Bryce went to Charles," what are these books for", Bryce asked. "They grimoires, I'm preparing the basement to teach you guys magic", Charles replied. "so anyway the seniors are throwing a party and wanted to ask you if I could go", Bryce asked. Sure you can go, everyone deserves to have sometimes", Charles said. Bryce and the older ones went upstairs and Kevin and the rest stayed downstairs to watch TV. In the basement, Charles has been preparing the the basement to teach the boys magic. He filled the shelf with books related to anything supernatural. He took everything he would need to teach the boys to the basement.

Later, Katherine and the others go to their homes to prepare for the party. Katherine looks through her closet to find the perfect dress for the party. She dress up and did her makeup and was ready to leave. She went out. As she was walking to her car she saw someone watching. She tried to ignore the person but the person started following her. She got scared and run to her car. She got in and lock the door. She looked back to see if the person was still but there was nothing there. She sighed and went to pick up Bryce and the others.

The stopped by a big house. They got out and they heard music coming from the house. "So this is Carter's house", Bryce asked. Katherine said, "Yeah now let's go inside". She rang the doorbell and Carter came out and invited them in. There only a few students in so they continued further to the pool where the all the rest of the t party people were. Some in the pool and some dancing and having fun. Cashel, Kyra and Katherine immediately went over to the drinks, leaving Bryce and Emily all by them self. Bryce was quite nervous since it was his first time at a party. "Hey, are you nervous", Emily asked. "Yes. It's my first time at a party", Bryce replied. Emily held Bryce's hand and pulled him into the crowd if dancing teenagers and started dancing. "I don't know how to dance", Bryce said. Emily wasn't surprised since he already told her it was his first time. "Don't worry I can teach you. It's not that hard. Feel the beat and just let your body move". Bryce did as Emily told him to. He started moving his body sophisticatedly to the beat. "Not bad", Emily said as she started dancing. Bryce started dancing less sophisticatedly by the security and eventually got a hang of it. Emily looked so joyous when was dancing that Bryce couldn't stop looking at her and feel more at ease.

At the drinks table, Cashel, Kyra and Katherine were enjoy themselves sipping their drinks. The fun was completely ruined for the three immediately when Zane came over to Katherine. "So you came", Zane said. Katherine could smell alcohol coming from Zane's mouth. "Have you been drinking", Katherine asked. Just a little bit, no problem", Zane replied. Katherine rolled her eyes. "So how about a dance", Zane asked. "No thank you. You are the last person I'd want to dance with right now. So if you don't mind, stop bothering me", Katherine said angrily. Just then, Kyra noticed Jason alone at a corner holding a cup of drink. She went over to him and said, "so you came", Kyra said. "Was I not allowed to ", Jason asked. "I just thought you said you wouldn't come", Kyra said. "Well I guess I changed my mind then", Jason said. "So you wanna dance", Kyra asked. "No, I'm fine", Jason replied. "Oh okay", Kyra said disappointedly. "So what made you change your mind to make you come", Kyra asked. I don't know, I just thought it would be fun", Jason replied.

Back at the drinks table, Zane still wouldn't stop trying to flirt with Katherine. Katherine couldn't take it anymore so just grabbed Cashel's arm and dragged him away from the table. "Hey what's going on", Cashel said but Katherine just kept on dragging him. "Wait where are you going, come back", Zane shouted but Katherine completely ignored him. Just then he saw Bryce dancing with Emily in the crowd and got really angry. He walked over to Bryce and punch right in the face causing him to fall. The DJ immediately stopped the music which brought everyone's attention to them. Without letting him get back on his feet, Zane went on and punch him again which bruised Bryce's face causing it to bleed a little so he got really angry. Then a power started surging through Bryce body. Zane tried to punch Bryce again but Bryce eyes started to glow with an ultramarine blue colour. Zane saw his eyes and was about to freak out, but Bryce pushed him with the power sent Zane flying back a bit. Bryce's got up and his eyes stopped glowing. He went on to Zane and started punching several times. Cashel and Carter came rushing through the crowd and went to pull Bryce off of Zane. Zane was so weak that couldn't even move, with his face covered with blood. Jason and Kyra also came to the fight scene. Jason's eyes went wide immediately when he saw the blood on Zane's face and completely freaked out and then then left immediately. "What the hell is going on here", Kyra asked. Bryce shook Cashel and Carter off him and went out to Katherine's car. Cashel and Emily followed him out. Kyra turned to say goodbye to Jason but he was nowhere to be found. Kyra and Katherine also went after him. When they got out Katherine saw a hot looking man wearing a white t-shirt with a leather jacket and tight jeans probably in his early twenties. It was the same man who followed her to her car so she freaked out. "Are you coming", Kyra said. Katherine ran to the others and they got into the car. "What was going on back there", Cashel asked Bryce but he didn't even answer him. "Just drive the car", Bryce said to Katherine. Katherine started the car and drove off. Without realizing it, the bruise on Bryce's face had been completely healed.
