C7 Kids of detention

Alvin and the students were still getting to know each other when the bell rang. The lesson was over and the students getting up to leave the class for the next.

"Katherine Clover, do you mind staying behind to a minute", Alvin asked.

Katherine, Emily and the rest were about to leave the class together when Alvin called Katherine. Katherine signaled to the others to go ahead.

Katherine took a seat on the first row. Alvin waited for everyone else to leave the class before he did anything. And now it was just the two of them in the class. Alvin went closer and closer to Katherine until they were just inches away from each other.

"Katherine Clover, you're a pretty hard woman to talk to. I had to become teacher just so I could talk to you without you running away" Alvin said.

"What do you want from me", Katherine asked.

"Okay I'll say it, since you asked", Alvin said. "I like you. There, I said it. That's the reason why I've been trying to talk to you".

Katherine was extremely shocked. She was not expecting that. She did know she was beautiful but she sure didn't know was so beautiful to the extent that I'll make a 24 year old guy to be chasing after on the streets.

She took up and said, "you're crazy", as she headed for the door. But Alvin caught up to her and pulled her up against the classroom wall. He put his both of his hands on the wall to block her from escaping and now Alvin's face was just an inch away from Katherine.

"You know you can't just leave me like that now, right", Alvin said, seductively. "I'm your teacher now and I can get you in a lot of trouble if I wanted to, you know but I won't 'cause I'm a good teacher not obsessed", he added.

With her back against the wall and Alvin's face right in front of hers, Katherine couldn't help but stare into Alvin's beautiful hazel-brown eyes. It kinda felt like they were pulling her in. Her heart started to beat faster and faster every second. She tried her best to resist them. She kicked him right in the nuts with her knee, pushed him aside and bolted out the door.

In the hallways, Bryce, Cashel and the others were heading towards their assigned locked. Since their lockers were at the same aisle, all four friends were at the same aisle, conserving.

"Hey, how's your headache, I still think you should go to the nurse's office", Bryce said.

"You have a headache", Kyra asked.

"Ooh is it bad", Emily asked.

"No it's not that bad, there's no need to go to the nurse so can we stop talking about it", Cashel said with a tiny hint of anger in his voice.

He slammed the locker close and moved back a little. Then, a shoulder hit him causing him to stumble a little. It was Zane, and beside him was Mitch.

"Watch it, twerp", Zane said.

Just as they were about to turn and leave, Cashel saids, "f**k you", to Zane.

It came out all of a sudden, and body was expecting Cashel to say that. When Zane bumped into Cashel he suddenly felt the burst of anger inside him that he couldn't keep his cool. And Zane being the hothead that he is, got really angry.

"What did you say", Zane asked.

"You heard me, I said f**k you. What are you gonna do about it", Cashel said trying to piss Zane off.

Hearing this, Zane got angrier and punched Cashel right in the face. The punch made Cashel stumble back a bit. The punch only angered Cashel more, he hit Zane with a more powerful blow than the last one and Zane's nose could be been bleeding. At this moment, it had erupted into an actual fight with both sides giving and taking punches and kicks from the other.

The commotion had brought the attention of the other students in the hallways and they already enveloping them.

Seeing this, both Bryce and Mitch tried to stop the fight but Cashel shook Bryce off him when he tried to pull him away. In doing so, Cashel's elbow hit Bryce right in the nose pushing him backwards and causing his nose to bleed.

Mitch also tried to pull Zane away but Zane shoved him aside, sending him towards the onlookers nearby.

As they were beating each other up, Mr, Thornton, the new English substitute teacher, came pushing himself through the crowd. He pull Cashel and Zane apart.

"What in the world is wrong with you people", Mr. Thornton asked. "You're coming with me to the principal's office, right now".

Cashel and Zane speechlessly followed behind Mr Thornton to the principal's office and the crowd began to disperse.

Emily went to Bryce and saw that his nose was bleeding.

"Are you okay, your nose is bleeding", Emily said.

"No I'm okay, it fine", Bryce replied because he was sure that it had already healed.

"Was that the new English substitute, he's kinda hot", Kyra said.

"Oh really, you think he's hot, I thought you had the hots for Jason", Emily said, trying to mock Kyra.

"Shut up", Kyra said as she walked away, blushing.

Just then the bell rang and it was time to go to the next class. Bryce and Emily were in the next class together so they went together.

During lunch, the group was sitting together enjoying their lunch and conversing as usual

"I heard Cashel got into a fight, what happened", Conner asked.

The news of Cashel starting a fight had spread like wildfire through the school and almost all of the final year students had heard about it. It came as a shock to them all. It wouldn't have been news if Zane was the one who started it but Cashel starting a fight was just surprising. He wasn't someone who would needlessly start a fight at least not at school. They could even hear some of the other students still talking about it.

"Yeah, what happened", Bryce and the others were also curious at to what made Cashel piss Zane off and start a fight.

"I don't know, it's just that I got angry all of a sudden", Cashel said. "It was like the anger was flowing from an unknown source inside of me", Cashel explained.

Them all stare at him dumbfounded at how Cashel was talking. He was talking like a medieval poet, passionately composing a masterpiece.

After Cashel was done with his masterpiece, it was really quiet all of a sudden around the table.

"Wow, you are amazing", Kyra broke the sudden awkward silence and started applauding Cashel.

"Oh, what happened at principal Bohen's office?", Bryce asked.

"A week of counseling and detention. And for some reason he chose tonight for the first detention. At least I won't be alone", Cashel replied.

"I've got detention too, it's actually my first time getting detention.", Bryce said with a thumps up.

"Wait Bryce, you have detention too, how?", asked Emily.

"Zane and I almost got into a fight again in the chemistry class last week", Bryce replied.

"What is wrong with that guy, he's so annoying", Kyra said.

"He has anger management issues, who doesn't know that", said Cashel.

Katherine, who had been quiet all along suddenly let out a long sigh of frustration. Ever since she escaped from Alvin, she hasn't been able to concentrate throughout all the classes after. Her mind kept drifting away every time and she couldn't stop thinking about it. His beautiful hazel eyes, his sweet scent and his perfectly sculptured face and now she was even blushing. I mean who can resist the hottest man alive?

"And what is wrong her?", Kyra asked.

Katherine looked at Kyra and rolled her and sighed again before replying, "I haven't been able to keep focus lately. I keep spacing out".

She sighs again and suddenly gets up, "that's I need to get some fresh air" Katherine said before she picked up her tray and left.

Soon after, Kyra also got up, "Something came up, I need to go quickly" she said as she picked up her tray and left immediately afterwards. She had been thinking about what Cashel said about when he got into the fight with Zane earlier and what Bryce said about Cashel having a headache and other stuff and thought she might have an ideal of what was going on.

Bryce was watching Kyra leave was his gaze suddenly fell upon Zane's. Zane was sitting with some of the members of the football team, laughing and enjoying their lunch. The excited expression on his face Immediately changed into one of anger and disgust when his gaze met his Bryce's.
