C8 Start of the detention

When Kyra left the cafeteria, she went to get her father, Mr Michaels and immediately when to principal Bohen's office to maybe convince him to postpone Cashel's detention but no matter how hard they tried, principal Bohen just wouldn't listen because they wouldn't give him a valid excuse.

"Look, I can't just postpone the detention if you don't give me a valid excuse", principal Bohen exclaimed.

"We can't tell you the reason we want you to postpone Cashel's detention but please try to understand that something might happen if the detention goes on tonight", Mr Michaels tried to explain.

"And just like I said before, I can't just postpone the detention if you don't give me the whole reason", principal Bohen said.

Mr Michaels got disappointed, he and Kyra had been trying to convince principal Bohen to postpone Cashel's detention but he just wouldn't listen.

On the other hand, Kyra who had been quiet and observing principal Bohen ever since suddenly spoke up. "You know what's going to happen, don't you.

Mr Michaels and principal Bohen both turn their head and looked at Kyra, confused.

And what do you think I know", asked principal Bohen.

"You know what's going to happen with Cashel, don't you", Kyra asked.

"I'm afraid I don't know want you mean", principal Bohen tried to deny but Kyra was also convinced that he knew what was going on.

"If you know what's going to happen then why don't you postpone Cashel's detention, he might hurt them or even kill them", Kyra said.

"I assure you he won't hurt anybody, they'll get him under control", principal Bohen said to reassure them that nothing will go wrong and admitted that he knew what was going on.

Mr Michaels actually felt reassured by what principal Bohen said but the same couldn't be said for Kyra. She was not convinced that they could get Cashel under control.

"And who are 'they'? And what if they get hurt too?", Kyra asked.

"You don't need to bother yourself with it and I also assure you that they will not get hurt", principal Bohen replied.

Kyra was about to complain when her father, Mr Michaels turn to her and said, "I think we should leave it to him".

"What? Why?", Kyra asked.

"Let's just trust him for now, okay".

Kyra looked at her father for a while before noticing something, by the look on Mr Michaels' face, she could tell he was scared.

"Okay"

Mr Michaels turn to principal Bohen and said, "Okay then, we'll leave him to you then"

Mr Michaels and Kyra got up and left the office.

"I hope they can keep under control without dying", principal Bohen thought when they left.

When Katherine left the cafeteria, she went straight to the gym to try to clear her head.

She was so frustrated.

"You okay?", a voice asked.

Katherine glanced back to see who the voice belong to. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw Alvin sitting a couple of seats away behind her.

"Woow, calm down I just wanna talk", Alvin said when he saw Katherine almost fall from her seat.

He got up from where he was sitting and went closer to Katherine.

"When did you get here", Katherine asked when Alvin sat a few inches away from her.

There was nobody there when she got there.

"I have my ways", Alvin smiled.

An awkward silence felt between them. Katherine's heart was beating like crazy. She was having mixed feelings right now.

"So what did you want to talk about", Katherine asked. She was trying her best to keep herself calm.

"Oh, I just wanted to apologise for what happened earlier. I shouldn't have come on you like that", Alvin apologized.

"No, it's okay, you don't need to apologise", she lied it was definitely not okay.

After she replied, another awkward silence fell between them.

"Uh, I have to go to class", Katherine couldn't take it anymore. She quickly started running towards the exit.

"Do I still have a chance though", Alvin shouted. A smile appeared on his face when Katherine completely ignored him and left.

Beacon Hill hospital.

Elena who was stabbed twice in the torso was sitting on her bed when she heard a knock on the door.

"Come in", Elena said.

The door crept open and a tall handsome man with brown hair, wearing an stylish overcoat holding a bouquet of beautiful red roses, walked in. This man was non other than Charles.

"I wasn't expecting visitors", Elena said when she saw Charles.

Charles smiled and asked, "how're. you doing".

"Great. I should be able to go home in a couple of days", Elena replied.

"That great news", Charles said as he handed the roses to Elena.

"Thank you", Elena smiled and took the roses. "They're my favorite".

"So did you remember anything", Charles took a seat and asked.

"No, still nothing",, Elena replied.

The police told her she fell victim to mugging. Apart from that, she somehow couldn't remember anything.

"okay let me try something", Charles said as he moved closer to Elena and started slightly massaging her head.

"Close your eyes", Charles said.

Elena slowly closed her eyes as Charles said.

"cogit vim extermina", Charles whispered so Elena couldn't hear it and casted a spell.

"Open your eyes", Charles stop and said, "do you remember now"?

Elena opened her eyes quickly searched through her to memories to see if she could remember

"Yes", she remembered. "There was a man in a hood and his eyes...they were glowing. He stabbed me and then took my purse to make the police think it was just a mugging".

"Are you sure his eyes were glowing", Charles asked.

"It sounds crazy but, yes".

Charles thought for a while. There are just a few creatures in Beacon Hill that could make their eyes glow and none of them would suddenly attack a ordinary person. None that he knew of.

"Charles", Elena called, bringing Charles out of his thoughts. "How did you do that...the massaging thing"?

"That? It's just something that I picked up", Charles replied.

After their short conversation, Charles got up said, "It was nice talking to you, but I'm afraid I have to get going. I have other things to tend to".

"Okay, have a safe trip back then", Elena smiled and said.

As Charles was walking towards the door, he stopped as if he suddenly remembered something. He turned around and asked, "Would you, maybe like to get something to eat together sometime after you get discharged"?

"Yes, I would love to", Elena replied without any hesitation.

A smile appeared on Charles's face as he walked out the door.

It was currently already dark with the full moon shinning brightly in the sky.

A figure could be seen walking alone through the woods, somewhere in Beacon Hill. The figure seemed to belong to a tall man with a muscular build. This figure was none other than Beacon Hill High's new English substitute teacher, Mr Eugene Thornton.

As he was walking, started to hear footsteps following him from far behind. He smiled and ignored it then kept walking.

whoosh

A figure flashed behind Eugene with incredible speed. Then another one flashed a few meters ahead of him.

The two figures kept whooshing around. One of the figures approached him with the intent of attacking him.

Eugene threw his hand and caught the figure by the neck. The figure was a man in a hood with his eyes glowing.

Eugene smiled at the man and his eyes started glowing with a red-orange color.

Eugene punched the man in the stomach, which sent the man flying, hitting one of the tree.

Whoosh

The other figure also tried to attack, but Eugene push kicked him which sent him flying too.

"Next time you try to attack your alpha, make sure you can actually attack", Eugene said with a serious tone.

"Oh cut them some slack", another figure immerged from the darkness. This figure was a woman with long and curly blonde hair.

The woman leaned over and kissed Eugene on the mouth. Eugene's eyes returned back to normal.

"Are you done with it with the locator", Eugene asked.

"Almost, I'll be done by tomorrow", the woman replied.

"Well it better be, 'cause I can't wait anymore.", Eugene said. "We need to get those gems so that the pack can grow stronger. I can't create the altimate pack if I don't those gems".

"Relax, you can't rush magic", the woman said. "and besides, we've already tracked all five gems to that school. All we need, is to finish the locator so we can locate the kids who the gems have merge with".

"Don't worry we'll get them soon", The woman said with sinister smile on his face.

Back at Beacon Hill High, Bryce and the other students had already begun their night detention.
