C20 Out With The Boys

I was rooted in the same spot for five minutes. I could not just get the thought of Susan cheating on Zain out of my head. Why would she do that and even if she has to cheat, why with the pregnancy? She is carrying a soul and she doesn't need to discredit the little soul.

I was angry that she had to think with her ass instead of her head and fact that it has to be Zain.

It suits them both, I should not have a headache because of the two of them. They can live their lives the way they want.

I turned around and left the room with the phone in my hand, pretending that I saw nothing.

I handed the phone to her and left. I wasn't ready to see her reaction or if she would react.

Susan can act and if anyone should know her too well it should be me.

I got to my room and lay on the bed. I was not feeling myself and I could say I know why. I am missing mom and Tasha and at the same time feeling giddy which means I miss Moris.

I contemplated calling him but decided to call the dude I met at the mall.

I scrolled through my phone and saw it then dial the contact. He picked at once.

"Hey beautiful, what's up?"

His voice rang through the phone. I was surprised he knew I was the one calling.

"I am good, handsome. Just bored. By the way, how did you know I am the one?"

He chuckled at his end

"Your voice says a lot."

I blushed at what he said

"And about the boredom, I am so sorry about it. I wish there is something I can do to make you come out of it."

"Don't you worry yourself? I will find a way around it. Hope you got home safely?"

I asked

"Not home yet, hanging out with friends"

I smiled, boys and hangout

"That's great then. Since you are with friends, we might talk later then"

I suggested.

"Definitely, we will talk. Take care of your pretty self for me"

He said.

"I will, bye"

I said and hung the call then sigh. There is no need to pretend I am cool so I decided to sleep. I closed my eyes and soon, I slept off.

Zain's point of view….

As I sat down in the living room with Susan, my mind was not there. I lost count of how many times she had called me. Since I returned from the mall it's been from one thing to another. She is over demanding and it's beginning to tail me on. It's just that it's the weekend and I have to endure it. It's only two days to go.

"Susan, I need to go out. I did not get that stuff I wanted to get in town and I will hang out with the boys so I would not be coming early"

I said casually as I stroked her hair. She looked up at me.

"Really Zain? When have you ever stayed with me for two good hours? What the hell is all this? Always hanging out with the boys"

She screamed.

"Hey, keep your voice down. I am suffocating here, I need so much fresh air"

I retorted. I was angry and I didn't want her to make me look bad for wanting to take some air outside. She is the reason I want to go out because of her nagging.

She got off me and lay on the couch.

"You are free, Zain, do whatever you want. You can come back anytime you want"

She said angrily and I could understand anyway. I needed this and no matter how nasty she's going to be at the moment, I'm still going to go out there and hang out with the boys and maybe forget about Jenny and by the time I will be back, I will have a clear head.

I picked up my phone and the car keys at the centre table and walked out of the building.

A few minutes later I was on the road and less than a few minutes later, I drove into Top Of The Mark where I hung out with the boys. We already planned to meet later in the day. All I did was to notify them about me being on my way and they would arrive, maybe before me or after me.

TOP OF THE MATK is a popular bar in town and for a long, it's been our spot. We have never changed location for once. I guess it has to do with the quiet serenity and their great wines.

I got a space and parked then looked around for Harrison's red voot but could not find which means he is not here yet and that goes for the twins, Ethan and Nathan.

I got down and walked into the bar. It was late afternoon so there would not be many customers and even if there is, you would not get to know because everyone was at his table or unless you came in a group.

It's a bar, not a club so it should be quiet.

I got a table and settled down then ordered a drink in anticipation of my friends.

My orders came and in no time, the trio arrived with huge smiles plastered on their faces.

"Look who we have got here? The soon to be a new Dad"

Ethan, one of the twins said when they got to my table.

"He's looking fresher and younger"

Nathan chipped in and Harrison laughed.

"You guys can't seem to amaze me, with the heat in my house you still say I'm looking good?"

I said, shaking my head.

"Joke apart dude, you look great"

Harrison said as they all got comfortable.

"I hear you. It's just dawned on me that you guys would not tell when I have an actual problem. It's all good then"

"Whatever man"

Ethan said, brushing me aside. He called the bar attendant and then ordered their drinks.
