C47 Who Is Your Boyfriend
Tasha got to her mom's rooms and entered without knocking.
“I don't remember having you as the co owner of this room”
Mrs. Martins said. She sat behind her dressing table, cleaning her face. She's already in her nightwear ready to sleep or probably waiting for Tasha to come.
“Sorry mom, no offense intended”
Tasha said stylishly and hopped on her mom's bed.
“You always do that, and you end up apologizing. When will you learn common courtesy? I don't own this room with you, so stop barging into my room without knocking, or I will ban you from coming into my room”
“Alright Mom. Understood. So Trucy said you want to talk to me, what is it momma?”
Mrs. Martins dropped the facial wipe and turned to face her daughter,
“As a matter of fact I do. Is there something you would like to talk to me about? I mean your personal life. You know, mother to daughter talk?"
Tasha stared at her mom, with her brows raised, you was lost and her state of confusion was obvious on her face.
Mrs Martins continued,“I know I have been very busy, and I haven't got time for you, leaving you in Trucy's care.”
“Mom, no. There is nothing.”
Tasha replied to her mom while she tries to understand where her mom is heading to with the question she just asked.
“Who is your boyfriend?”
“Mom, I don't have a boyfriend now”
Mrs. Martins blinked her eyes then shook her head.
“Why don't you have a boyfriend?”
She asked calmly. She knows Tasha to be a crazy girl, but she not having a boyfriend at eighteen? It's way out of it. It is not a must, but she doesn't want her daughter to miss out on the fun in her teens.
“I just don't feel like it. I am cool without them”
Tasha replied.
“Okay, don't just hang around only Jenny. Get to make friends and mingle and if you need to tell me anything, Tasha, don't hesitate. It's my duty to assist you in all areas of your life”
Mrs. Martins told her teenage daughter. She has her reason for saying this, something tells her that Tasha is doing something out of line and since she doesn't know what it is, she has got to advise her daughter.
“Alright Mom. I will not hesitate to talk to you”
She promised her mom and yawned then stood up
“I need to sleep now, mom”
“Okay, have a good night's rest. Mummy loves you”
Tasha nodded and left the room. She was relieved, she had been thinking all along when her mom brought up the boyfriend issue, maybe the mom has found her out secret, but it seems her secret is intact.
Tasha would not have been in this mess if for their friends back in fifth grade who introduced lesbian to her and ever since then, she has been stuck in it.
At some point, Tasha has thought perhaps Jenny has been initiated and was relieved to find out Jenny was not but right now, she wished that Jenny was initiated. It would be easy for her now.
Jenny's point of view….
Next morning….. Day 4
I blinked repeatedly as I tried to get myself out from sleep mode. I have been up for a minute now, but have not really gotten hold of my environment.
I finally snapped out of my sleepy state and stared hard at the ceiling.
It's morning, which means a new day.
How today is going to go is what I can't decide now, but I would want it to be better than yesterday. It has to be.
I stood up from the bed and headed towards the bathroom. My reflection says a lot about me. It was messy. My hair was messy, my cheeks puffy and my eyes looked so dull with constant yawning. Menh! The yawning was too much, and I guess I know why. I did not eat last night.
I splashed water on my face and checked my reflection again, and this time around, I was looking a lot better.
Afterwards, I washed my face and left the bathroom then headed out to find something to eat.
I stumbled upon Susan in the kitchen, she was trying to get something from the upper cabinets
“Good morning sis, let me help you”
I said and brushed past her,
“Morning Jenny”
“What do you want to get?”
I asked her.
“There is a bottle of mayonnaise, I want it”
I nodded and got it for her, handed it to her and made to close the cabinet when I saw a pack of condoms. I hesitated a little bit and closed it anyway.
A pack of condoms should not be in the kitchen unless someone in this house is hiding it from another person in the house.
Susan was long go before I could manage to close the cabinet.
It's too early for me to start seeing things like this.
I was lost, I totally forgot what brought me to the kitchen. This happens as a result of having too many things running in your mind.
I got myself and what to make for myself became a problem. I have two options to choose, either I prepare macaroni and eat it with the sauce I made, or I brew a coffee and take it with yeast bread and because the latter is easy to make, I decided to go for it.
Made my coffee and I took some bread out of the fridge and left afterwards.
Imagine, I came to get something to eat without brushing my mouth. That shows how hungry I am.
Getting to my room, the ringing of my phone greeted me.
I ignored it and walked to the dressing table to keep my coffee and headed into the bathroom to wash my mouth. Whoever that is calling me should wait.
Got done washing my mouth, and my phone had stopped ringing. Not that I was expecting it to ring non-stop.
I sighed and sat down to eat, but it rang again.
I hissed and stood up to get it, and Trucy was calling me. I was surprised to have him call me this early. It's been a long time since he called on the phone, although we practically saw each other every day when I was at home.
