C7 Revenge

Albert's POV

I love being at quiet places, it enables me think straight, and when I'm in a quiet place like beaches I prefer to be alone. When I got back from my trip earlier this afternoon, I felt like driving out to a private beach and when I meant private beach, La manga luxury beach Villa is the best place I love being mostly at late evenings. I don't mind spending the night in one of their beautiful luxury rooms.

I got there by 7pm and I was enjoying the peaceful atmosphere while I stroll around. Afterwards, I took a walk to the pool area and sat out on one of the chairs having a good view of the moonlight. I could hear a distant sound of music in the beach but I couldn't tell where it was coming from and I cared less. Who even does a party at the beach by this time of the night?'Everyone Albert except you!' my inner voice answered and I growled at it to shut the fuck up. Oh, I need a drink to complete my relaxation. There's this expensive tasteful wine I bought from California named Screaming Eagle that I came with to the beach but I've forgotten it in the car.

I stood up and began walking back to the gate to get itfrom my car. And then a familiar fragrance hits my nose,I looked around to find who was wearing that fragrance and my gaze fell on her. Arrogant, prideful bitch. She was in a black sexy dinner gown and was standing with a white man, talking and smiling with him. I don't know what my business was with her but I took a step back and hid in one of the coconut trees to watch them.

They were both talking and the next thing she was hugging him, arrrg, she doesn't even have any shameat all. She was hugging someone old enough to be her father, it's quite obvious she must be one of those ladiesthat sleep around with rich men, they even call themsugar daddy. So gross! No wonder she's acting all proud like she has the whole billions in her account.

I saw the white man walked away from her leaving herin a gape and then I emerged from my hiding. I felt likepissing her off tonight and letting her know that I haveher secrets in my hands now.

"You should shut your mouth closed before some insectsflies into it" I started with a smirk on my face. She was startled and gave a low squeal.

"What the heck?!" She exclaims turning around to have a view of me. I stepped a bit closer to her and waited if she'd recognized me.

"Chill. Why are you so chicken out?" I asked with a cockygrin while both of my hands were in my jean pocket.

"Because you just made me to!" she snapped at me,just the usual her and started walking away.

Wait a minute, doesn't she recognized me? At least she's meant to say something like 'you again'. Is hermemory that blur? I have to think of something to stop her from walking away.

"You’ve got a nice boy-man-friend I must commend. He’s not even a Nigerian; you’ve got some high taste you know" I called out after her and immediately shehalted. Great! She stopped waking! That's a good startI grin widely to myself.

"I beg your pardon?" she half-yelled from where she was standing.

"You heard me" I yelled back, "Oh, I forgot, the truth isalways so bitter to admit to" I scoffed rubbing my beards.

That got her staring at me in a gape and for the first time since i met her she wasn't quick to retort to me.

"You know, i don’t have to blame you for saying obscene things to me, I only blame the fact I’m at the wrong placeat the wrong time. So if you’d excuse me, I beg to take my leave. I’ve got more important things to attend to" she said and turnaround to leave.

I can't let her leave yet, I'm enjoying the fact I'm pissingher off. "Important things like meeting with another ofyour man-friend, huh?" I deadpans and she halted andglance back at me. From her facial expression I knew she was really pissed and she was going to give me a piece of her bad-mouth.

"Angel? Is everything okay?" a guy who appeared besideher asked, "We’ve been waiting for you to join us at theparty" he added.

Oh, now I get, the music I was hearing was from a party hosted by them. Still I wanted to upset her more than I already did.

"Angel? Wow, such a cute pet name for you" I scoffedwith a snort. The guy gaze fell on me.

"Who is he? A friend, or is he one of your colleagues?" He asked her. I knew she was going to say I'm a strangerto her and then both of them would walk away. I didn't want that.

"Her friend" I answered with a smug before she couldsay a word. She furrowed her brows at me wonderingwhat I was trying to play at.

"Would you be kind enough to show me my way to the party because it seems angel here don’t want to do that" I added. She was dumbfounded, I didn't even know why I said that but I've said it already and no going back.

"Sure, I can take you there" he replied and I saw her eyes widened in surprise."Wait what?!" She half-yelled.

"What? He should come along with us if he wants; he’s your friend anyways" he answered. Woah, I like this guy already.

"I’m Wilson, Esosa’s elder brother" he introducedextending his hand for a shake which I accepted.

Oh, it's her brother after all."I’m Albert, Albert Harrison" I introduced.

"It’s a pleasure to meet you, Albert" he said with warmthsmile. He looks friendly.

"Same here" I replied flashing him a smile.

She glances from me to her brother surprised at the friendliness.

"Let’s get going, they’re waiting for you. You're the celebrant" He said wrapping his arms around her shoulders.

I frowned at that, don't ask me why because I don't know why I did frown at it. He said she's a celebrant, celebrant of what? Maybe I'll ask when I'm alone with him becauseI know if I asked her she wouldn't tell me.

I didn't even realize we weren't walking fast until both of them stopped abruptly in front of me.

"Angel? Why are you dragging your feet and slowing us down? Is something wrong, did you forget something?" He whisper-yelled.

"Uhmm, no, I … "She paused and glance back at me and I raised a brow at her. She diverted her gaze to the sand on the beach.

"Angel? Angel?" Her brother called her attention standing right in front of her.

"Yeah" She answered with a startle.

I guess she's still surprise on how I got her brother to believe me to be her friend. Wait for it, Esosa, I'm just starting with you.

"You seem so lost in thought, are you sure you’re okay?

"Yeah, sure" She answered with an half-hearted smile."Let’s get going" she added and I used that means to taunt her.

"Okay my angel" I said grinning cockily. Her smile switched instantly to a deep scowl.

"I wasn’t talking to you" she hissed at me and storms out of our sight not waiting for us.

I felt excited deep inside me that my revenge was going smoothly.

"She was referring to me then, let's go" her brother said beside me and I nodded and followed him to where the party was being hosted.
