C6 Lost Love

It was late at night when Asfand came back home from a hectic business party. He doesn't want to go there, but considering the importance of that party for the reputation of his company, unwillingly he has to go there.

First of all, he came into Aashir's room. He glanced at his sleeping tiny figure. A relief surged into his whole form after finding his son soundly sleeping. During the party, when he called his father that is when his father informed him about the accident that happened with Aashir. He wants to quickly come out of there, but he wasn't able to do so.

His son doesn't suffer from any severe injury and that was enough to make him relieved. For some moments, he kept standing there staring at him. Then he turned back and taking heavy footsteps, he entered his room. His room was dimly dark and he didn't feel it necessary to switch on the light.

Putting his coat on the bed, he entered the washroom. After freshening he came out of the washroom and straightly went to the bed slumping on the bed. Feeling the softness and smoothness of the bed, his eyelashes got heavy because of tiredness.

Before he went into a deep slumber, he tossed to the right side. Being in a sleepy state, his senses become alert when he sensed a strange feeling. But still, he kept his eyes shut. He felt that someone is near him. And he felt the urge to drift closer to it. But this time he completely awakened after feeling a beautiful scent beside him. And instantly someone's face flashed in front of his open eyes. He felt that it was because of sleep, he must be hallucinating. But the very next moment, when he felt someone's hand lying on his chest, his senses got on high alert.

Harshly he pushed the hand away and with a jerk, he got up, sliding down from the bed. Sanam, who had just drifted to sleep now, opened her eyes to her badly pushing her away. Upon seeing someone sitting near her, sleep vanished from her eyes as fear overtook her.

In a dreadful state, as she was about to open her mouth for shouting, he was quick to sense her intention and immediately put his strong hand on her mouth suppressing her shouting.

"Who are you? And what are you doing here in my room? I am taking off my hand from your mouth, you are going to answer me without shouting." He instructed her in his dominating voice. If she was some thief then she wouldn't have sound sleeping here. But he was suspicious of who this girl is.

On the other side, Sanam, who was trembling because of fear, was dumbfounded after listening to the voice of the one in front of her. She can recognize this voice and this tone in millions. She becomes standstill in her place on listening to this voice after years.

"I'm asking you something. Who are you?" On her sitting mum, Asfand got up from his place and switch on the light of the room. But the very next moment as his eyes went to the person sitting on the bed, he also turned standstill at his place.

They both were staring at each other without saying a word. Many moments passed in silence, but not a single word came out of the mouth of anyone. He was seeing her after six years and in these past six years there was not a single moment when Asfand didn't hate this girl.

In these past years, she didn't change a bit. But, in fact, her beauty was amplified further. Asfand felt himself getting drowned in her beauty with astonished-filled wide opened eyes. He immediately scolds himself for getting impulsive.

"What are you doing right now in my house and that too in my room?" Controlling his inner self and masking his expressions, he asked her with a look of contempt. On his asking question, Sanam got the answers to questions originating in her mind.

It was not a mere coincidence, Aashir's father was no one else but her Asfi, her first and last love.

"I stayed here on the insistence of your dad. I didn't know that it's your house and Aashir is your son." She hardly made herself speak the last sentence and glanced at him for once. Wearing a black t-shirt and gray trousers, his muscular body was clearly apparent in his apparel. His personality seems to be further groomed in these last six years. She was staring at him without blinking her eyes.

And Asfand, who was standing with stone-cold expressions, was glaring at her angrily. On the answer of Sanam, he understood the whole matter. It means the one who saved the life of his son was no one else but Sanam.

"How strange, isn't it? Heartless people like you, who only create trouble for others, can save someone's life." He scoffed and smiled sarcastically as if making fun of her. While his tone and mockery voice made Sanam's eyes watery. She squirmed and got up from her place.

"I didn't trouble anyone." She hardly made herself speak by controlling her tears. While Asfand burst into laughter at what she told him. He kept on laughing at her until a tear slipped from his eye immersing in the carpet. But he didn't feel it necessary to have a look at it.

"You are right Sanam, you don't trouble anyone but, in fact, you directly kill him." With bloodshot eyes, he turned towards her. For many years he was living with this hatred that was weighing his heart.

Now he can't stop himself from bursting on her after seeing her right in front of himself. How many prayers Sanam made that she didn't face her Asfand in her life, but today she was present in front of him, and that too in his room.

"Asfi you can't blame me like....." She was left midway when he raised his hand and stopped her from saying anything further.

"The man standing in front of you is Asfand Yaar Khan, not Asfi, Sanam Ibrahim Khan..... You have killed that Asfi six years before." The coldness in his voice made her heartbroken. She wasn't used to this behavior. But the man standing in front of her wasn't wrong at all. Now he has to return the pain, which she gave him.

She was trying to hold her tears from falling, but it wasn't either working in her favor.

"You saved the life of my son that's why you are still present here. Otherwise, if I want, then I wouldn't let you stop here for a moment. So get lost from this room and don't come in front of my eyes again." He said heartlessly seeing her letting her tears fall. He clenched his fist as if trying to control his rage.

"I myself wouldn't stay here if I knew this is your house. And by the way, I don't want to become the cause of trouble for anyone anymore." After done with her saying, she didn't stop there storming out of his room.

After her leave, Asfand in anger, harshly kicked the nearby table and glanced at the place, where Sanam was standing a while ago. He was praying that it all was his dream and he woke up from that dream.

But sadly it was not his dream. His painful past, his trouble came back again standing in front of him. Still, he was helpless in trying to forget his painful past.

Only two women came into his life and they both left him in the end. He didn't hate Laraib that much the way he hate Sanam. Because he was in immense love with Sanam Ibrahim Khan, but now he hates her much.
