Just finished the novel. The last 500 chapters are 85% multiverse subplots. The main world plots were very limited. No depth in them. Early on, there was foreshadowing about the mc’s potential biological family. There was a girl the mc adopted. There were a lot of storylines that were forgotten. I just feel the one and done multiverse subplots became a crutch for the writer. They became more interested in those, than the actual main world plots. If this is on discount, I’d recommend it.
