She patted her head and smiled at her, if there is one thing Pandora likes about Light it's that she isn't stupid to not listen to reason when she likes someone.

" Are you going to the market today with Ely?"

"Yes, I wanted to sell on of the sheep there and some milk too, I ran out of rice and vegetables "

"Okay I will go with you two, mother already agreed "

"Come to my house when you are done, I will be waiting for you "

"Mhmm"

After making sure that her brother is done freshening up she draped his sling bag on his shoulder, locked the door and set out to the market, their parents went to the neighbouring village to sell some things from the farm, they met up with Light when they came close to the village border.

She helped her to carry some of the milk, having less things to carry, Pandora decided to help Ely in herding the sheep, after taking him where the sheep will be grazing for the day, she left him there, and went to the market, if everything went as planned, they won't spend more than an hour there, she had already given Ely his food in case she was late because the market is crowded all the time.

"The market isn't crowded today?"

Light said to her as she turned her head around trying to take in the whole market like she is seeing it for the first time, she is right, it looks like fewer people came to the market today, she tapped Light on her left shoulder and used her shin to direct her to where we were going because she got carried away,

"Do you think it's because of the scream from last night?"

"I don't know Light, I was with Ely when it happened, you know how scared he is"

"Yes I do, this screams are becoming more frequent these days and the village head isn't doing anything about it"

"What do you want him to do? To go out when the scream sounds so that he will be taken to?"

"Well I don't know but I heard they normally go investigate but all they see is nothing, so clean it's almost suspicious "

"Do you think someone was just pranking the villagers?"

"I used to think but not after last night's "

They stared at each and went back to being quiet, Light was right again in some way, she never thought it to be prank because those screams are of terror, pain and helplessness, she doesn't know how she knew, she just does and it hurts her that no one is making any attempts to know what's hurting these people, can't blame them though, everyone is fighting for their lives, who would want to waste theirs for strangers.

Perhaps because of the state of the market they were able to finish up the sales earlier than expected, as they were returning back to the place they left her brother they met Samuel whose face brightened up on seeing Light, seeing as he looks so lovesick like puppy after it's owner proves that he does have some kind of feelings for her if not love, he nodded in acknowledgement towards Pandora, they weren't that acquainted with each other and he then turned his focus back on the shy Light, who was blushing like a maiden on her wedding night.

After flirting back and forth with each other, he decided to follow them, seems like he was done with his own business, Samuel is a young hardworking farmer that rear pigs, sheep and horses, he is well to do and hardworking, that's why he is the ladies heartthrob, they set out together to the place.

"That's weird, Ely would have sensed us and start jumping like a hamster to welcome us"

Light said as they approached the grassland closer, she (Pandora ) looked at the sheep grazing around in a distance but no sign of Ely,

"Maybe he is distracted by the sheep, he was very excited about it this morning "

"He is always excited about it all the time"

They started chucking at the truth, Ely loves being around the sheep, they were closer to the tree he was under when they left but no sign of him, the sheep were all eating and bleating happily,

"Ely! Ely!! Ely!!!"

Okay that's weird thought Pandora in her heart, she was sure her brother wouldn't leave the sheep here all alone, then something dawned on her making her eyes widen in fear and worry,

"I think he might be having one of his episodes, we need to find him"

They started searching around for him, it was Samuel who saw the poor boy writhing on the ground in pain,

"Pandora, I found your brother over here!!"

The two girls rushed towards there to see Ely convulsing on the ground, dirt stained his hands, shoes and cheek, Pandora immediately held his head to her laps and brought out a small tube,

"Everyone close your nose"

They did as she told them, they watched her bring the small open tube close to Ely's nose and he inhaled it, the more he inhaled the more he calmed down till the writhing and trembles stopped, the poor boy opened his eyes and seeing his sister's worried face, he started crying.

"Shh, stop you will be fine, stop"

Light knelt beside the boy and gently run her hand through his hair as they sought him down, Ely started having this illness from the age of five, they have done everything they could, the medicine in the tube was given to them by a healer at another town, and so far it works okay.

"Is this normal?"

Samuel asks Light when they were out of the siblings earshot, Ely has calmed down a bit so they are giving them space to stay together and give him a sense of safety.

"Yes, and their parents have done everything they could but it's not working a lot as you can see "

"Do they know the cause?"

"Not that I know off, why ? Have you seen such signs before "

"H...Huh? Ah..... No I haven't "

"Okay then"
