C11 Chapter 10 – The End of the First Week
The first rays of sunlight lit up the island.
Aiden slowly opened his eyes.
For the first time since arriving in this strange world...
He had slept peacefully.
The upgraded wooden hut blocked the cold wind, and the campfire had kept the monsters away throughout the night.
He stretched his arms and stepped outside.
The morning air smelled fresh.
The ocean shimmered under the rising sun.
Everything looked calm.
But Aiden knew better.
"This island only looks peaceful."
He washed his face in the pond before opening his System.

Aiden frowned.
"Beginner Protection?"
Another message appeared immediately.

Aiden took a deep breath.

Until now, all of his equipment had been made from stone and wood.

It would become useful.
The Healing Herb Seeds interested him even more.
"So farming isn't only for food."
"If I grow medicine..."
"It could save my life."
He carefully stored everything inside his inventory.
The small red Health Potion remained in his hand.
He inspected it.

After breakfast, Aiden looked around his camp.

Stone.
Bones.
Fur.
Everything was exposed to the weather.
"I need storage."
Unfortunately...
He still hadn't found the Storage Box Blueprint.
"I'll just organize everything manually for now."
He stacked the logs neatly beside the hut.
The stones were placed in another pile.
The bones and fur were wrapped inside large leaves.
The camp immediately looked cleaner.
"It isn't perfect..."
"But it'll do."

As the morning passed, Aiden continued exploring the area around his camp.
This time, he paid attention to small details instead of rushing.
Near the pond...
He noticed tiny footprints.
They belonged to the Forest Hopper.
The peaceful creature had visited again.
Following the tracks, Aiden discovered something hidden beneath a bush.
Several bright blue berries.

Aiden carefully picked only half of the berries.
The rest remained on the bush.

But a wise one.

By afternoon, dark clouds slowly gathered above the ocean.
A cool wind swept across the island.
Aiden looked toward the sky.
"A storm..."
He hurried back to camp.
Using extra branches and rope, he strengthened the roof of his hut.
Then he covered his resource piles with large leaves.
Only a few minutes later...
Rain began to fall.
Heavy drops hit the roof.
The wind howled across the island.
Inside the hut, Aiden waited quietly.
The walls shook slightly.
But they held.
He smiled.
"Good thing I upgraded it."
Without the stronger hut...
He would probably be soaked.

The rain continued for almost two hours.
When it finally stopped...
The entire island looked different.
The air felt cleaner.
The leaves sparkled with water droplets.
A small rainbow appeared above the sea.
As Aiden stepped outside...
Something shining caught his eye.
Near the rocky hill...
A strange green crystal had appeared where lightning had struck.
It definitely hadn't been there before.
He approached carefully.
