Golden sunlight slowly spread across the island.
The darkness faded.
The waves sparkled under the morning sun.
Aiden opened his eyes inside his small shelter.
For a few seconds, he forgot where he was.
Then yesterday's memories rushed back.
The island.
The System.
The Fang Rabbits.
His first battle.
He stepped outside.
The cool morning air filled his lungs.
His campfire had almost burned out, leaving only warm ashes behind.

A small smile appeared on his face.
Just hearing those words gave him confidence.
