The doorbell rang and she went to open the door..

"You are still up?" He asked stepping inside..

"Yeah I was waiting for you as well as studying" she replied taking his bag and coat from his hand.. he smiled and sat on the couch loosening his tie..

She dumped his bag and coat on the couch and went to kitchen to get a glass of water for him..
