C6 Chapter 6:If only the past didn't happen.

Peri was typing on the Computer when a Shadow covered her. She looked up and Widened her eyes.

She Immediately stood up and bowed at the Man.

"Boss, Do you need anything?" She asked Politely. The Man raised his hand and Pointed at Something, Peri followed where his index finger is pointing at and she blinked her eyes a few times.

"You need to go home and rest, It's almost 7. It's dangerous for girls to walk at night." The Man Explained coldly.

Peri bit her lip. She really thought this Man cared about her, But just by staring at the Cold expression, She could not help but scoff.

"I heard new york is safe at night. It's a busy city anyway so I'll be fine." Peri said politely and put on a small smile.

The Man raised his eyebrows before walking back to his Desk. He just stayed quiet and again started to work on his Computer.

'How rude.' Peri thought to her self and Sat at the Chair then also started working.

Time passed by and Peri started to get a little sleepy and then she Yawned.

"Go home now and sleep." The cold voice of the Man working on the Big desk sounded.

"I'm—"

"Tired, I know. Go now." Peri furrowed her eyebrows. This Man really loves ordering everyone around.

She took her Sling bag and stood up.

"I'll go then." She bowed Politely, Swallowing her displeasure for the man and walked out of the office.

She hates that boss of hers with all her heart. She went out of the Building and gaze at the Busy City of New York.

Of course, It was actually not her First time living in New York. Her Father was half American and Chinese, While her Mother was Pure Chinese. So she is Half, But has more Chinese blood.

Her Grandmother was the Pure Chinese while her Grandfather was not. and they're living in China right now. So that's why Storms is the Surname that they're wearing, An American Surname.

She still remembered the Story her father told her about how he and her mother met each other. She loves that Story.

She gripped on her Sling bag and stopped a taxi. She arrived home and saw Royalty eating at the Dinning table.

"Peri, You're back!" Royalty exclaimed and gave her a Hug.

"So, How's the first day of Work?" Royalty asked. Royalty was her Cousin from her father's side, Her Mother married a pure American so aside from Peri, She has more American blood, That's why she lives at New york.

"I hate the boss." She just then Quickly climb upstairs and Shut the door of her room. Royalty sighed. She stared at Peri's door.

If only the Past didn't happen, Peri should have still been the Cheerful girl she have been before, And Peri should have never changed her name.

"Are you sure Peri is Mr. Storms biological daughter?" The Man asked while narrowing his eyebrows.

"Yes, Boss." The Woman said while looking down. She could not bear seeing the Cold glare and the Aura of her boss.

"That's Impossible. Mr. Storms daughter's name isn't Peri." He coldly declined. But a thought appeared in his mind.

"Unless.." He again look at the Picture of the Girl with deep brown eyes. "She changed her name."
