C7 Chapter 7:Coming to New York

"Li qian yu missed you alot Peri." Samantha spoke and Chuckled.

"Qian yu missed me, But you don't? I'm gonna cry.." Peri said with a fake sad voice.

"Damn you." Samantha said then laughed. "Of course I missed you!" Samantha exclaimed.

Peri just Chuckled. "Well, I need to go. Got some work tomorrow." Peri said and Samantha sighed on the Other line.

"Okay then, Watch out for that Boss of ice of yours." Samantha said and Laughs, Peri rolled her eyes and hung up the Phone.

She lie down on her bed and dozed off as she fell to dream land.

Peri was now inside the Office of her boss, She was working on her Computer—Or more like deleting some of her Boss's Emails that our not even a little bit Important and saved those that are Important, such as meetings and Appointments.

"Get me a coffee." There comes the Cold voice of a Man, Peri glanced at him for a Moment before standing up.

It's been 1 week already, Her boss was very Cold and a Workaholic, But he never keep distance from her.

It was kinda weird for her because when they were with other people, He would keep great Distance with a Very cold look plastered on his face, No one can read his Emotions. He was always blank.

But she would always think that it was just because she was his Assistant.

She made sure that the Coffee wasn't too hot nor too cold, And add less Sugar. Just like how her boss wanted.

For the past 8 days, she was always doing well, Of course—She had memorize everything she needs to do, Even if her boss is sometimes a pain in the ass, This Job was the best one in New York.

Besides, She already made 3 friends. And they all became close for only a week.

She took the Coffee and brought it to her boss's office and put it down on his desk. He just took a Sip and then Continued working.

Peri was used to her Cold boss, Her boss would never ever say "Thank you" or "Sorry" to anyone.

She also Continued working, When her phone beeped, Indicating that someone had just message her. She was almost done with the Emails, 'Damn, this guy is too Successful, Bunch of Fan girls.' Peri thought and opened her phone while still glaring at the emails on the Computer.

-Peri's Point Of View-

I unlocked my phone and touched the message.

(Girl, Are you still busy? We are waiting for you right now outside the Company for lunch.) The message said and I Sighed, When I remembered something.

(I'm sorry Em, I have to Attend a meeting with Mr. Blades.) I replied with a puppy eyed Emoji, While I was also looking at an Important file above my desk, inside the Folder, Containing the Next meeting.

(That sucks, We need to go, Maybe next time then.) Without replying, I put down my phone and paid Attention to the emails again instead, And when I checked the time, I walked to my boss's desk and Bowed while holding the files.

"Boss, It's time for the next Meeting, It will start in 25 minutes." 25 minutes was the right time to get ready for the meeting because the meeting room is in the other floor under his office floor. And he always wanted to be 5 minutes early.

The meeting ended and we're now heading to the Private Elevator when he stopped in-front of me. I immediately stopped walking avoiding to bump into him.

"Go and eat." He said coldly his back still facing me.

"But-" I started, I still need to print some of the files on my table.

"No buts. It's better to have something on your stomach while working." He coldly glance at me and started to walk away. I felt my whole body shiver.

I was left dumbfounded. How about him? He didn't even fill his stomach yet. Tsk tsk. Why do I care? He can live his life the way he want, Besides, I'm hungry.

Peri took a bite of the Hamburger and hummed in response. Her phone rang and she picked it up. She didn't even bother to look on the caller ID.

"Hey, Pumpkin." Comes the soft and Playful voice of her Brother.

"Brother, Why did you call?"

"I'm coming to New York."
