C14 Fourteen

I

"Jaja please the keys" Anisah said to Jaja who immediately passed her the keys. "Welcome Anisah" Jaja said and she smiled before making her way into the house. Thank God Waleed isn't arround, she thought.

Before Usey left he scolded Waleed and asked him to apologies which Waleed has refused to. He will not apologise to her, she is not worth it. He thought.

Making her way into the house which she had opened she found herself insulting Waleed. "Annoying ugly man, he is so wicked. Calling me a thief?. Idiot.... Very ugly ass hole. Stupid waleed” she kept cursing while locking the door with it's key. She knew very well that Waleed was in no way ugly but calling him ugly brought her great peace. Oblivious to her, Waleed stood behind her with his hands crossing arround his broad chest. Amongst her words the one that registered in his head was the part where she had called him ugly, at first when he heard her cursing, He thought she was cursing at her teacher until he heard his name 'waleed'.

"We all know that you are the ugly one here" Waleed's husky voice startled her and she turned arround only for her face to collide with his, which almost made their lips touch. Waleed didn't make any plan to move away from her face which was very close to his. The only space that was left was for that in which they'll breath.

"Goodaf..." He cut her short by placing his forehead on hers. Fanning her nose greatly with his breath. He stared deep into her blue icy eyes and said "you smell like sweat, go and take a bath" he said Calmly with his eyes still gazing into hers.

She didn't say anything, she just pulled her head away from his and stood putted to the surface. She wasn't going to say a word to him. Seeing his face, even brought her great anger.

"why are you very stubborn?" He asked very calmly.

"I need to go and begin with my chores" she said. Moving backwards which almost made her fall, but Waleed caught her. He looked deeply into her eyes and said "Never trust me" with that said, he let go of her making her fall hard on the tiled floor.

She didn't say anything and just got up while dusting her blue shirt "what a goat" she thought. While staring deep into his eyes.

"Go get ready we are going to the mall" he mouthed before turning arround and walking away.

"Wicked soul" she mumbled beneath her breath while trailing behind him.

He heard her audibly but choose to remain silent, he wasn't up for another insult section.

She walked towards her room while he headed to his. They both got dressed, Anisah wore a blue trouser and a white chiffon top, she placed her bow cap on it for finishing touches. She looked gorgeous wearing her white flats.

Immediately she got downstairs she saw Waleed seated on the couch, dressed in a black kaftan and a golden cap placed on his head. He looked stunningly handsome, that, she didn't miss out. Waleed was indeed a handsome man.

"Sir I am ready" she said, her voice laced with ignorance.

"What are you wearing?, Do you even know the store I am taking you too?" He asked while scanning her from head to toe. She looked beautiful, that he knew but he wanted to get on her nerves. Why wasn't she saying anything. That was Killing him. He wanted her to curse him audibly.

"I'll go change" she turned around and started walking upstairs.

"no need. Please let's just go. I don't have time for that" he said and began walking towards the exit with Anisah trailing behind him. She shut the door and trailed behind him towards his car.

"Get in" he said when he saw her standing. She walked to the backseat in other to seat which pissed him off.

"Do I look like your driver?, Common get infront" he hissed. She simply did as he said and sat, engulfing him with her amazing scent.

He put on his seatbelt and waited for her to do the same which she didn't. She simply focused her attention on a lizard walking on a tree branch outside the car. It was a fascinating sight to her.

"Bush woman, please put on your seatbelt" he startled her making her turn to him. She immediately put on her seat belt without muttering or saying anything. Which made him more worried, why wasn't she speaking.

He ignited his car and started driving through the gate which was already opened by Jaja.

He drove in a normal frequency into the busy road of maitamah. He was driving to Silverbird where he needed to get a new wristwatch which was brought for him by the store vendor who had promised to call him if the watch had arrived. After there, he will immediately head to sahad in other to pick up his other goods, which were mostly food items.

In not less than thirty minutes he was before Silverbird. He parked in the parking lot and said "stay here, I'll be right back" he said and she nodded without saying a word to him nor staring at him. He simply choose to ignore that and simply put down the window in other for her to have a means of proper oxygen.

He stared at her one last time, seeing that her face looked so neutral he choose to just get down and buy what he wanted and come back immediately.

She stared at him through the front window. Watching him walking majestically towards the entrance. "Even the way he walks has an aura of rudeness and arrogance" she said audibly to herself.

Just then, a car pulled over at her side with a man seating in it. He looked in his late Twenty's. Absentmindedly, her eyes drifted to him and he immediately threw her a dashing smile while scrolling down his window properly.

"Hey" he said with so much enthusiasm and she smiled. "My name is Jamal and what is yours?" He asked, a beautiful smile playing on his lips.

"Anisah" she said Calmly.

"Cute name, Why are you seating in there allone?" He asked while opening his door and coming out.

"I'm waiting for someone" she said and he nodded while standing before her.

They both kept conversing and turns out Jamal was a very funny guy and never lost a chance to make Anisah laugh. Oblivious to them, Waleed stood at the water fountain watching them with his hands crossed. Anisah was smiling and looked happy. unlike some minutes ago which she looked as if she would never smile, and now here she was and laughing with a total stranger. He thought.

The sight before him was annoying so he decided to intrude which he did. "Asalamualaikum" he greeted Jamal with his eyes taking glances at Anisah who had immediately frowned her face.

"Wow you didn't tell me you were here with your husband?" Jamal said making Anisah cough dramatically.

"God forbid, he is not my husband. Never" Anisah said so calmly, making Waleed's mouth instantly go agape. But he immediately got hold of himself and took a seat in his car and maintained a fake unconcerned face.

"In that case, let me have your phone number" Jamal said and she instantly mumbled her number out to him which he immediately wrote down on his cellphone.

"I'll call you later Anisah and remember we still have an unfinished business" He said making Anisah chuckle while waving at him. What could be that unfinished business?, Waleed thought while igniting his car.

He watched as Jamal took a seat in his black shining BMW.

"Bye" Anisah said while waving at him, and he immediately winked at her before driving properly towards a better parking spot.

Waleed decided not to speak and drove out of silverbird with the thought of Anisah in mind. The fact that she had said God forbid when she was asked if he was her husband made him a bit angry. Wasn't he husband material enough, he thought while taking a last glance at Anisah who stared at her new infinix which she had gotten from her salary.

I'm very sure it must be him, Waleed thought. He didn't know why but just the thought of that man annoyed him beyond words and the worst part was that he made Anisah happy. Which he knew he couldn't do because of his immense ego.
