C9 Nine

At about 6:55pm in the evening Anisah was done with her chores and was seated in the kitchen on a stool.

She had recieved an alert from Mamah who had sent her sixty thousand Thank Naira as a payment for her work with Waleed, she was indeed happy to know that she would be able to register for her upcoming waec.

"Witch!" Waleed's thunderous voice Echoed through the stairs where he stood with a scowl on his face.

Anisah got up from the chair where she sat and took in a deep sigh, a deep one indeed. She walked out of the kitchen and towards the stairs where she found him standing on the casing of the stairs.

"My name is Anisah and not witch" she snapped the moment she stood in front of him with her hands at Akimbo.

"Where is my wrist watch, And my handkerchief. Didn't I tell you not to steal anything from my room?" He fired at her. She hummed and walked towards the stairs, she walked up which was to his out most suprise.

"Where are you going to?" He asked which went unanswered by Anisah who continued to walk until she got to his room with him trailing behind her angrily.

"I am speaking to you bitch" he said the minute they both made their way into his room. She walked towards his cupboard and picked his wrist watch and handkerchief which she had Arranged in order in the closed cupboard which Waleed had neglected.

"Here are your stuffs" she said while passing it to him.

"Give me" he grabbed it from her hand roughly with a pinch of disgrace in his tone.

"You are welcome" she said and turned arround to leave.

"It seems to me that you are forgetting your role in my house. well let me remind you, I am your boss and you are my maid, get that into your thick skull" he said and she halted before turning around to face him.

"what do you want for breakfast?" She asked instead of firing a comeback at him. He was indeed surprised that she said nothing.

"Nothing, make Usey's breakfast. Make him a burger" Waleed said.

"uhm... I don't know how to make that" she said with her eyes glued to the ground.

"I don't care, make it however you wish to" Waleed said with an invisible smirk playing on his face. He was certain that Usey loved women that could cook and Anisah not being able to make it would most certainly make Usey lose interest in her.

"Alright" she mouthed before taking her leave. While walking downstairs, she mysteriously bumped into Usey who had a beautiful smile gracing his perfect lips.

"Anisah how are you?" He said the minute he saw her Beautiful face come into view.

"I'm fine, Good morning sir" she said and began walking down the stairs again with Usey following behind her.

"Usey" he said and she halted.

"Huh? Excuse me" she said whilst facing him.

"My name is Anwar Aliyu, but you can call me Usey" he said, displaying his set of white teeth's.

"Oh, nice meeting you?" She said with a quizical grin displayed on her face.

"Don't you remember me?" He asked. He couldn't believe that she didn't recognize him.

"Uhm no" she while walking towards the kitchen with him trailing behind her.

"I'm Usey, Waleed's best friend. Aunty Aisha's little brother" He said and realization dawned on Anisah that she was speaking to ya U.

"Ya U" she said the minute she realized who he was.

"Yes, ya U, but I prefer Usey" he said. Anisah immediately engulfed him in a bone crushing hug that froze him.

"What is going on here?" Waleed who had been watching them for some seconds finally spoke.

"Nothing, we're just reliving good times" Usey said the moment he and Anisah broke their hug.

"Why didn't you come back to the mansion?" Anisah asked, ignoring Waleed's disturbing presence.

"Well somebody told me that you had left River Street, that uncle Attah got a job in another state" Usey said referring to Waleed.

"who told you that?" Anisah inquired. "Usey we have work to do" Waleed interrupted while Dragging Usey along with him.

"No..." Before Usey could complete his statement, Waleed dragged him out while sending Anisah a deadly glare.

"What a crazy fellow" Anisah mumbled to her self, she returned to her chore of making Usey's burger.

"This is amazing Anisah" Usey complimented the moment he tasted Anisah's freshly made burger.

"Really?" She asked while staring at Waleed who frowned his face as though he had lost a lottery worth billions.

"Yeah babe, I love this" Usey said while giving a high five to Anisah who Immediately extended her's.

"Please, can you leave. We are busy" Waleed said and Usey rolled his eyes knowing how rude Waleed was to poor Anisah.

"Anisah, I have a gift for you. Later make sure you remind me to give it to you" Usey said making Waleed roll his eyes.

"Alright" she said and turned around to leave but Usey stopped her again.

"And also, I spoke to ya Aisha a few minutes ago and she said I should send her regards to you" Usey said and Anisah nodded with a smile while staring at Waleed who had a neutral expression on his face.

"Send my regards to her too" Anisah said and Usey nodded.

Anisah walked away in a jiff and headed straight to the kitchen where she began cutting the veggies she had sent jaja to get for her.

It was approximately 3:55 and Usey made his way into the kitchen with a wrapped box in his hand. "Hey Anisah" Usey said with great enthusiasm.

"Hey ya U" she said and Usey frowned his face at the name ya U.

"Look what I got you, uwrap it and tell me what you think" he said while passing it to Anisah who Collected it and began to uwrapp it.

"Oh my God, a make-up box" she said with great excitement in her tone.

"Yeah. You like it?" Usey raised his brow and she nodded.

"Yeah, it's superb" she said. "Thank you ya U, you are the best" she gave him a high five.

Unknown to them Waleed stood at the entrance staring at the scene before him, A scene that made his eyes twitch.
