C3 Melodies of faith

As school ended, Dorah's driver already came to picked her up. They got to grandma's house . Not actually her grandma but her mum told her that she's like a mother to her. So, sometimes when her mom wasn't around she always stays at her grandma's house. "Grandma, I'm home" dorah shouted as she dropped her bag on the couch next to her. "Welcome baby. I'm in the kitchen" Grandma answered. "So, how was school today?" Grandma asked as Dorah got to the kitchen. "It was fine apart from when a friend of mine picked up a fight with me" Dorah said and smiled dreamingly as she remembered how Ronald carried her. "Oh my baby is blushing. Quickly tell me what happened" Grandma said as Dorah sat on the counter. "Grandma, you remember the guy I always told you? The one that's my senior" Dorah asked. "Yeah, Ronald right?" Grandma asked. "Wow, you still remember his name?" "Yeah, why won't I when you always mention his name" "well, he and I talked today and even took me to his favorite spot in school" Dorah said smiling as she remembered their moments together. "Hey, stop day dreaming. You're not allow to go into any relationship. You're still young, okay?" "Okay grandma" Dorah said as she got down from the counter. "Okay, go and change" grandma said. "Okay mum" dorah said and left for her room.

Ronald, Max, Jason, and Mr Alfred, their manager, were in the basketball court. Mr Alfred was sitting down while the boys were playing basketball. "You know you're selfish" Max said to Ronald. "In what way?" Ronald asked as he dribbled the ball pass Max and Jason and dunked the ball in the basket. "Dorah" Max said. "Why am I selfish in that way? And please don't tell me you're still on her joining the group?" Ronald asked as he went to seat beside Mr Alfred and picked up the bottle water beside him and gulped down almost half of the bottle before throwing it to Jason who caught it. "What else? You know I'm never backing down" max said and sat beside him. "It's better you back down now" Ronald said. "And it'll be better you shut up. What's wrong with you? All this I'm doing, isn't it for us? For the school? Since you're not willing to help just shut the fuck up" max said already getting pissed. "Am I to force her? When she said she's not interested did you expect me to force her?" Ronald asked. "Ronald, we all know you never made an attempt to talk her into this. " Mr Alfred said. "Fine, I'll talk to her" "Thank you" Max said sarcastically. "Well, here's a piece of advice. Be careful with how you relate with her, Madison mustn't know about her" max said. "You mean to say?" Ronald asked. "I mean to say, Maddy mustn't see you with her" Max said. "Such a jealous bitch" Ronald murmured. "But wait, how did you got tangled with that girl" me Alfred asked. "She's my dad's friend daughter and my dad thought she's good for me. So ......" Ronald trailed off. "Something like she's being betrothed to you?" Jason asked. "Exactly, and I just can't disobey my dad especially my mum. Her health matters to me I don't want to go against her wish" Ronald said resting on the chair he sat on. "Sorry, it's your luck, man" max said patting Ronald's shoulder. "And the worst part is that she's clingy and the most boring lady I've ever met. She's just so boring to me no matter what she did" Ronald scoffed. "Sorry for your loss" Jason said. Ronald's phone started ringing, playing the song he and Dorah sang in the garden. He picked it immediately "MUM" He called. "I won't be late, bye" he added and hung up. "You sang that with who?" Max asked. "Sang what?" Ronald asked looking confused. "Well, it's melodious. I can recognize your voice anywhere even in my sleep but I just can't figure out who the other person is" Jason said. "Well, it's dorah" Ronald said. "Oh you can get her to sing with you but you can't get her to the group." Max said raising his eyebrows. "Well, I didn't get her to do it, she was down then and I just thought of singing for her to calm her down. Then, she sang along the way. I never expected it tho. It was a surprise to me too" Ronald explained. "Okay" Jason said. "Just be careful. Madison mustn't hear that." "Okay, fine. I get it" Ronald said rolling his eyes. Ronald phone started ringing again. "Talk of the devil. Bitch" Ronald said as she checked the caller. He threw the phone to max. "What do you expect me to do? I can't talk to her" max said throwing the phone to Jason who didn't even let the phone last long before throwing it back to Max. "I'm not that good in dealing with devil not to talk of the devil's little sister" Jason chuckled. "What's up, Maddy?" Max said as he picked the call. "Well, he's with our manager....." "Yeah, he's busy that he might not be able to call you back or even pick your call today" "okay bye. Later" max said and hung up. "I know you're up for the job" Ronald said giving max a high five. "Well, you should compliment me better" max said winking at Ronald. "Oh , please spare me" Jason said rolling his eye balls. "I'm giving you nothing" Ronald said giving max a playful glare. "Believe me, I'm calling Madison back to tell her you're ignoring her on purpose" Max said standing up. "You're not doing that" Ronald said trying to collect his phone. "Catch me if you can" "Dude give me my phone back. You can't call Maddy back. I'm not in for sermon" Ronald said running after max. Max stucked his tongue out to him.
