Jeremy turned off the TV. He had heard enough. He placed the remote on the table in front of him and with sigh he reclined on the sofa.

His posture at this moment made him look like an alpha, A man who was on top of the world. But yet his almond shaped eyes showed nothing but misery.

Right then a man walked in fully dressed in black. This man was lucas. Jeremy's most trusted right handman.

"Sir, his here". Lucas said staring at Jeremy probably wondering why he would let such a man visit.

"Let him in". Jeremy replied and then a young man walked in. He wore a friendly smile on his face as he walked towards the sofa Jeremy sat in.

"May I sit". The man asked and Jeremy nodded.

So the man sat opposite him and began to talk.

"Thank you". He started.

"For what exactly". Jeremy asked with a frown. "For doing the dirty work l always wished to do, but couldn't ". The man replied with a sinister smile.

Jeremy knew exactly what he was referring to, this man was non other than Gregory Adam's son, Tristan Adams. A son who was greatly mistreated by his father.

"I know you killed him. He stepped on a lion's paw and everyone knows what happens when a person does that. They get devoured." Tristan said still smiling. "You know, l warned him about you but he didn't listen, just like all the years he never listened to me".

"So why are you here now??" Jeremy asked getting a bit irritated by his presence.

"Like l said before, l actually came here to thank you. And you don't have to worry, the Adam's family are not pressing any charges. And I'll make sure the Adam's association will stay out of your way in The future".

Jeremy only nodded, he cared less about all the things Tristan was saying he was just waiting For the whole Conversation be over. But then Tristan said something quite interesting that caught his attention.

"Not trying to push my luck or anything, but if you really want Adams association to stay out of your way then you probably should also deal with my Uncle. Now that my father isn't around anymore, he proposed that the company should be handed over to him. Tristan stopped to see the expression on Jeremy's face then continued. "I'm just saying it's for the best you get him out of the way as well." Tristan said with all seriousness.

"What a pussy". Jeremy thought. Deal with your family issues yourself don't involve me in anyway. I don't care who takes after your father's company but if anyone of you tries to test my limits again, then you'll regret it. I'm sure you're not ready to meet your father again are you? Jeremy asked.

Tristan gulped.

"Of course not. Mmm your right I'll handle my family's matters myself. I'm truly sorry for bothering you."

"Good. We're done here so leave." Jeremy said and walked out.
