C15 Chapter 15

I curled up on my bed, watching as the rain rolled down the window. I was numb, just staring. I had just witnessed my mates' death, the image of his headless body as it hits the floor and his dead eyes staring at me. A knock brought me out of my thoughts and sluggishly, I got up to open it.

"Good evening Lady Celeste, the King has sent me to escort you to his chamber" A guard said
