"I thought I told you not to do anything until your hands heal completely." I told Ava as I entered the kitchen and saw her cooking.

"I thought you told me I can do anything I want." She said quietly, not looking at me.

Her answer pissed me off, I wanted to protect her, take care of her and here she was, either demanding punishments or hurting herself like this. I didn't reply to her
