“You really can’t tell from your apartment who you are.” Carolin looked around as she lay in Rebekka’s bed.

“It’s good that way,” said Rebekka. “I had this apartment since I was a student and I was on the cycling team. I’m not anything more than that now. I kept the apartment because I don’t want to be anything different.”

“But you are,” said Carolin sympathetically
