“Rebekka?” Footsteps approached from behind. “Ah, there you are. You were going to help me in the kitchen.”

Rebekka roused herself from deep contemplation. She tried to re-orient herself amid the lawn, trees, and flowers, until her view of the garden arranged itself into a coherent picture.

“Are you dreaming? I’ve been looking for you for half an hour.”
