C108

Hong Kun and Phantom Head kept walking forward, their mournful voices intermittent.

The ghost head seemed to have woken up. He said to Hong Kun, "Let's go back."

Just as the two of them were about to head back, Hong Kun pointed to the front and asked in surprise, "Look, what's that?"

The cave in front of him was pitch black. There was a hint of blue light that flickered like a ghost flame.

The two of them suddenly became nervous. They looked at each other, not knowing what to do. Normally, with Shen Hong and the green-eyed dwarf following behind them, they weren't afraid at all. But now, there were only the two of them, and it was hard not to feel fear in their hearts.

Their feet involuntarily stepped forward, and the Phantom Head felt that it was extremely strange at the time. He was extremely terrified, but he could not move his feet one step at a time, and in front of him was a long narrow corridor, the walls on both sides were actually made of mud, not the walls they were familiar with. The wall of the corridor was about ten meters or so wide, and it was suddenly enlarged inside a square room, and in the middle of the room was a half the size of a basketball court.

"Don't move first, I feel like this thing is a bit strange. It was this thing that attracted us here." With the lesson of the Black Tiger Copper Bell, Hong Kun became much smarter.

The two of them lit up their torches and looked around. They found two objects in the corner. When they got closer, they broke out in a cold sweat. Those were two coffins.

Was this a tomb? Judging from the layout of the cave, it really did look like a tomb, but it didn't look like the tomb of a royal or noble family. The interior was rather simple and crude.

Hong Kun's gaze fell on the two coffins. Once again, he became greedy. He secretly thought that there might be some sort of buried treasure, like gold, silver, or jewelry.

He leaned close to the coffin and took a closer look. The surface of the coffin was dark red without a single bit of luster. Hong Kun knocked on the coffin and realized that it wasn't a coffin, nor was it a sarcophagus.

Hong Kun felt quite disappointed. A single coffin meant that this tomb master could not even afford a coffin. He should be a pauper.

Seeing Hong Kun looking around the coffin, the ghost head became nervous. He immediately asked in a low voice, "Are you trying to open this coffin?"

Hong Kun laughed dryly and said, "There might be some rare treasures in here, don't you want to pick two of them?"

"I don't want to. Let's go."

"Go?" Since we are already here, opening it would not be a waste of our time. "

As Hong Kun spoke, he pushed out his palm, and a crack appeared on the lid of the coffin.

"Damn, this lid made of mud is quite heavy." Hong Kun cursed.

The ghost head noticed that there were a few lines of tiny characters beside the coffin. He brought the torch closer and saw that those lines were not words, but some strange symbols.

"Hong Kun, what is the meaning of coming here to see these symbols?" The ghost head shouted.

Hong Kun walked over from the other side of the sarcophagus. He looked at it for a long time, but still couldn't find anything.

The most common symbol on it is, "What do these symbols mean?" Both of them were confused.

"This should represent the sun. What is it?" Doesn't she look like a person? " As Hong Kun read, he began to mutter.

The two of them focused their attention on the symbols. Hong Kun's shoulder was grabbed, and he thought that it was the head of a ghost, so he opened it with his hand.

"Why are you capturing me? Look at the symbols below. Two benches facing upwards, that …"

"When did I catch you?" The ghost head asked curiously.

Hearing the Phantom Head speak, Hong Kun also felt that something was wrong. The Phantom Head was standing to his left, and its hand was grabbing onto his right shoulder. He turned his face and saw a pale hand stretching out of the clay coffin, its sharp nails hooked onto his clothes.

Hong Kun cried out and frantically tried to break free. His clothes had a hole ripped in them. He raised his blade and chopped at the thin white hand. The hand was cut twice before it was withdrawn back into the coffin.

"Is … is there something wrong?" The ghost head was so scared that his whole body trembled.

He retracted his hand and then placed it on the coffin's lid. As if he wanted to get out, Hong Kun hastily jumped onto the coffin and stood there like he had seen a ghost. He scolded, "Are you a dead person? "What are you waiting for? Hurry up and come over to help."

The ghost head snapped out of his daze, and with a "En", climbed onto the mud coffin.

The lid of the muddy coffin was already heavy, and adding on the weight of the two people, it barely managed to hold down what was inside.

"What's in this coffin? Is it a ghost?" The ghost head's face was covered in cold sweat.

"Ghost your head, this is Corpse Transformation, it's very likely a white corpse." Hong Kun, who had never seen a white corpse before, casually guessed.

"White Corpse? "I've only heard of zombies, they love sucking human blood. If that person gets bitten, he will become a zombie, and this white corpse is probably even stronger than zombies, so let's just run." The ghost head trembled again.

"Run, I also want to run, but if we run, what should we do if it catches up?" Hong Kun sat on top of the sarcophagus and looked around. He was looking for something heavy to place on top of the sarcophagus.

But after looking around, he found that there was something in the other corner, but that thing was also a clay coffin. He couldn't possibly carry that coffin over and press it down on top of the coffin, right? What if there were zombies in that coffin?

Thinking this way, he took a close look at the clay coffin. The coffin appeared to be even larger than the one beneath them, and much larger as well. Hong Kun thought, there must be a powerful figure within the coffin, and it should be the owner of the tomb.

Hong Kun was thinking to himself. When he saw that coffin's lid move, he was deeply frightened. If the white corpse had crawled out from the coffin, it would likely be even more difficult to deal with than the one underneath him.

"Ghost head, hold on to the coffin lid. Don't let the thing inside climb out. I'll go deal with one of them." Hong Kun shouted and jumped over.

A crack had appeared on the lid of the sarcophagus. Five fingers emerged from within and began to move towards the outside. Just as Hong Kun was about to cut it down with his saber, the five fingers withdrew and Hong Kun jumped onto the lid.

Under the ghost head, the white corpse unceasingly opened the coffin lid, the coffin lid had reduced Hong Kun's weight, the ghost head was also small and light, as if it was slowly being opened by the white corpse.

"Hong Kun, I can't hold on any longer. What should I do?" The ghost head panicked as it screamed again and again.

"Even if you can't, you still have to. If you don't want to become a zombie, you better take it."

In his panic, Hong Kun saw that the bead on the stone niche suddenly flickered a few times and lost its original blue luster.
