"Hey, Xu Dazhi, aren't you usually quite bold? What happened today? You've become a coward. " When Shen Hong heard Xu Dazhu's words, she purposely provoked him.
"Who are you calling a coward? I, Xu Dazhi, am never afraid of the heavens or the earth. A few Corpse Worms are nothing." Xu Dazhi was a straightforward man. When he heard Shen Hong's words, his appearance immediately changed.
"Since the heavens are not afraid of anything, then open the coffin."
"Just open it, damn it, what's so scary about these birds and bugs?" As Xu Dazhi spoke, he began to push open the heavy coffin lid.
Before the coffin could be opened, a corpse bug crawled out of the crevice and climbed onto Xu Dazhi's hand. Xu Dazhi shook his hand in fright, and the corpse bug's claw, with a barb on it, shook it a few times. The three fangs of the corpse bug opened and stabbed Xu Dazhi's skin, causing blood to flow out, and Shen Hong shot a silver needle out, and the corpse bug was pierced to death by a needle, its beak still attached to Xu Dazhi's hand.
"There really are corpse worms inside." As Shen Hong's voice faded, he heard creaking sounds coming from the wooden coffin. The entire coffin began to sway left and right.
"Run, the corpse worm is coming out."
Everyone followed Shen Hong, but he did not run outside. Instead, he ran towards the back hall.
There was a black tiger sculpture in the middle and a wooden ladder to the left. Shen Hong followed the ladder to the second floor. The second floor was a large, empty room. In the middle of the room was a wooden coffin that was much smaller than the one below.
"Why is it a coffin again?" Shen Hong felt itchy the moment he saw the coffin. The appearance of those corpse worms was simply too disgusting. She continued to climb until she reached the third floor, which was also a large room with a smaller coffin in the middle.
There was no way up, and there were no windows in the hall. If there were, they would have jumped out of the windows.
The few of them turned around and saw Meng Xiaodie.
"Where did Meng Xiaodie go?" Didn't he follow us? " Shen Hong anxiously asked.
The few of them shook their heads, unable to utter a single word. They were so tired from running like crazy that they were out of breath. Only Shen Hong's kung fu was good. He ran like he was walking.
"Let's go back and find Meng Xiaodie." Shen Hong had just taken two steps when he was stopped by a subordinate.
"Miss Shen, you don't need to go down. We don't know what's going on down there. If those zombies have already come out and are crawling all over the ground, wouldn't it be suicide for us to go down there?" Xu Dazhi advised.
At the mention of the worms, Shen Hong became hesitant. She looked at the stairs. The stairs were quiet, and there was no sound of anything moving.
"If those worms climb up here, there's nothing we can do to escape. Isn't it just waiting for our deaths?"
She was still going to think about it.
A few of her subordinates tried to stop her, but the shrimp blinked and said, "Weren't those bugs still unable to come up? Let's just wait here for a while, things might turn for the better."
Everyone was too focused on talking to pay attention to the small coffin in the middle of the room. Perhaps it was because it was too small to deter people, so they probably didn't take it seriously.
The few of them sat down to rest, not too far away from the coffin and only a meter or two away. Shen Hong unconsciously turned to look at it.
"I wonder what is inside this coffin?" she whispered, as if to herself.
"It could be a child, you see. Such a small coffin can only be a child." Xu Dazhi said loudly. His voice echoed around the spacious room, sounding especially loud.
"That might not be the case. He might even be a dwarf." The shrimp retorted.
Only you can. What dwarf? You look like a dwarf to me." Xu Dazhi glared at the shrimp, which shut its mouth tightly and no longer spoke. The shrimp was relatively small, so it naturally couldn't beat Xu Dazhi, who was behaving like a tiger with a bear's back, so it was a little afraid of him.
Just as they were talking, the coffin turned and startled everyone. They both stood up and slowly moved towards the stairs, ready to walk anytime.
Who knew that the small coffin seemed to have eyes, and with a 'swish', it blocked everyone's path.
Big Hammer Xu was a little angry. He thought to himself, This is just a small coffin. At most, it's a child, or a dwarf like what the shrimp said.
He liked to behave in front of others, so he shook the sledgehammer in his hand and shouted, "What the f * ck is that thing inside, quickly show yourself, otherwise, eat my hammer and your brain will burst.
Hearing his words, the small coffin suddenly floated up, spun a few rounds in the air, and flew straight towards Xu Dazhi.
The coffin suddenly jumped upwards, straight up, avoiding the heavy hammer. Then, it spun around the top of Xu Dazhi's head and suddenly pressed down. Because the speed was too fast, Xu Dazhi did not react at all, he thought to himself, F * ck, I, Xu Dazhi, am I going to fall here today?
At this critical moment, Shen Hong swung out his crescent shaped scimitar. The scimitar spun around and struck the small coffin. The strength behind the strike had actually changed the direction of the coffin.
Xu Dazhi rolled backwards, out of danger.
Shen Hong retracted his crescent shaped scimitar and saw that the coffin was still spinning in midair, as if it was looking for a target. In the spacious hall, there was nothing inside; there was nowhere for him to hide.
"Damn it, what is inside?" The shrimp scolded.
The head of the coffin immediately changed direction and flew towards him. "Mother, this little thing can understand human language." The furry prawns were scared shitless and began to run around without care for their lives.
The coffin followed closely behind. Just as it was about to catch up, Shen Hong threw out the crescent moon blade. A ray of silver light flew out and hit the small coffin's butt. The coffin immediately stopped chasing. Shen Hong made a gesture, telling everyone to be quiet. This move was indeed effective. Without any sound, the coffin lost its target and stopped in mid-air.
Everyone held their breath and remained in a stalemate for a few minutes. The coffin suddenly rushed forward like a madman and crashed into the wall. The coffin was instantly smashed into pieces.
A tiny person emerged from within. It soared through the air and somersaulted a few times before landing on the ground with both feet.
"I'm not going to play anymore, I'm not going to play anymore. Who the hell are you all? What are you all doing here?" The little fellow landed in the middle of the hall, looking around angrily as he spoke.
"Strange, he knows how to speak human language." The shrimp asked in surprise.
"Nonsense. If you don't speak human words, don't tell me you are spouting nonsense." The little fellow made a face at the shrimp.
The little person in front of them was actually quite old. He looked to be in his thirties, with a big head and short legs, and a pair of green eyes.
The green eyes were uncomfortable, and when he grimaced, there was a green light in them.
