Nick opened the cigarette case and saw that it was empty. He slammed the empty cigarette case onto the table in annoyance. "Ethel, give me a cigarette."

He took a cigarette case out of his pocket, tossed it in front of Nick, and looked at his watch. "Two hours and sixteen minutes, my God."

"More than two hours of interrogation, that's not surprising." Nick lit a cigarette and took a long drag
