C75 Sky-ladder

After walking forward for about ten minutes, a path appeared in front of them. The tunnel was very neat and orderly.

The two sides of the path were inlaid with rare white jade carvings by experts. The carvings were embedded into the wall paper, making it look very tall. The floor of the path was also paved with large pieces of bluestone.

Baili Ange shook his head. Just as he was about to step onto the bluestone pavement, the system issued a warning, "System, there's a mechanism here, please be careful!"

After Baili Ange heard this, his foot that had yet to land on the ground was lifted back and he backed up a step to carefully observe the tunnel. However, the naked eye could not see anything wrong with it.

She threw the clothes that she was going to give to Gu Le out onto the path. The clothes drew a perfect arc in the air, but before they could hit the ground, they were pierced with a thousand holes by the flying arrow. So, the white jade carvings on the wall were filled with hidden mysteries. Baili Ange sighed. Luckily, the System reminded him otherwise, he would have become a hedgehog along with those clothes.

Baili Ange carefully observed the characteristics of the arrows that flew out. These arrows would follow the clothes as if they had eyes. If she recklessly flew over, it would be impossible. She could only think of another way.

She had a lot of guesses in her mind, but they all needed to be verified, so she took out a mannequin from the system. She tied a rope around the foot of the mannequin, and the first experiment was to see how many arrows there were in the sculpture.

After N minutes, Baili Ange threw his 102nd time at the humanoid model, but there were still countless arrows shooting from the sculpture. Beside her was a large number of arrows pulled from the body of the humanoid model, she shook her head helplessly.

Baili Ange was a little disappointed, so he kicked the humanoid model over. Ah, the humanoid model did not receive any damage, and the arrows in the relief didn't come this time. Was it because the humanoid model was lying flat, so the relief couldn't be felt?

She pulled the mannequin back and tried again. Indeed, the mannequin that was stuck to the big bluestone was still intact, so she lost the mannequin. She threw out a rope with a nail that was firmly fixed to a bronze door at the end of the corridor.

Baili Ange slid across the large limestone then stood up perfectly in front of the bronze door and retracted the rope.

The bronze door in front of him looked very old. It seemed like it had not been opened for hundreds of years, but that was not right. If it had not been opened, then where had Senior Brother Gu Le gone to?

With all of his doubts, Baili Ange pushed open the heavy bronze door. Maybe there was another mechanism somewhere, and Gu Le just went through another hidden passageway into the tomb?

This place is truly worthy of being the tomb of an ancient mythical beast. Even though it has been buried for thousands of years, its spiritual energy is still preserved here, and such abundant spiritual energy, if used for cultivation, would definitely have twice the result with half the effort!

When Baili Ange pushed the door open, all the lights in the tomb chamber suddenly lit up. Baili Ange knew that it was because the white phosphorus ignited the oil lamp in the air and lit it instantly.

Looking inside, the entire hall of the tomb was very spacious, and in the middle was a very tall golden statue of a Divine Beast, reaching all the way to the top of the tomb, seeming to be connected to the top. In front of the golden statue, there were a few neatly arranged grass pavilions, as if a temple was being worshipped, but, this was clearly a tomb, wasn't it? No one came, so why did they put it on? It was very hard for her to understand!

From the posture, it seemed to be paying homage to a divine beast. The entire tomb chamber was obvious at a glance, Baili Ange had a feeling that something was wrong. This should be the tomb chamber, but where are the remains of the divine beast?

She consulted the system, but the system said that she needed to find an opportunity herself. She searched everywhere, but she could not find any clues, and there were no traps.

But the spiritual energy here was very abundant. She could feel it very clearly. She was sure that the remains of the divine beast were definitely in this space.

Suddenly, a strange wind came from nowhere and Baili Ange thought that some powerful monster had arrived. He was so scared that he knocked the water onto the ground, but when he looked back, he didn't know when the bronze door had closed behind him, and there was no way for the air to blow out of this sealed space. It was really strange.

When Baili Ange turned around, he was stunned by the scene in front of him. The grass bed he was sitting on just now had a stairway leading to the top of the tomb. Baili Ange clapped his hands and brushed away the dust on his body.

Standing on the Heaven Stairway, he realized that the Heaven Stairway was rising at a constant speed with the speed of light. Baili Ange wanted to climb up to the top, but it saved him a lot of effort.

Baili Ange looked towards the front, and did not expect that there was a portal leading to another dimension at the corner of the golden statue. She couldn't help but be extremely surprised, but luckily she didn't see any monsters along the way, otherwise, without Gu Le, even if she won by a fluke, she would still be riddled with injuries!

Standing at the entrance of the corner, Baili Ange looked at the Heaven Stairway, which had long disappeared. Looking down, the Xiao Clan's original kneeling posture was no longer there, but was now looking up at him with a sly smile. Baili Ange was shocked, could it be that something was going to happen to the Xiao Clan's strange smile? Also, they were only bronze statues, so how could they move on their own? Even their expressions changed.

She didn't dare to stay in this place any longer. She hastily ran to another space in the corner. However, she didn't know how dangerous this space was. She also didn't know that her familiar yet fearful friend Gu Le was waiting for her! It was as if everything was a matter of fate, and Baili Ange was holding his fate in his hands.
