C2 Tear a Man and a Woman apart
Lee Xiao, now restrained and frustrated, shouted to Zhao Yan, "Mr. Yan! She has the photos!"
Hearing Lee Xiao's voice snapped Zhao Yan out of his daze after being slapped by Jiang Nuan. He quickly approached Jiang Nuan, putting on an innocent face. "Nuan, you have to believe me! It was Lee Xiao who seduced me, I wasn't willing! Can you delete the photos, please?"
"Mr. Yan?" Lee Xiao looked incredulous.
As she listened to him, Jiang Nuan's expression grew darker, and her grip on Lee Xiao's arm tightened. Finally, she released her hold and reached into her bag for her phone.
"Nuan, I really love you, please believe me! We're supposed to get married; I've even bought the engagement ring!" Zhao Yan's eyes lit up as he saw Jiang Nuan's actions, and he couldn't help but add more to his plea. In the past, whenever he made such heartfelt confessions, Jiang Nuan's anger would always dissipate.
For a moment, Jiang Nuan felt a pang of emotion at his confession. But as she glanced around the less-than-clean restroom and recalled what he had just done with her friend in there, that feeling quickly vanished.
"Alright, as you wish—" Jiang Nuan said, pulling out her phone. She unlocked it, pressed a button, and a second later, locked it again, putting it away with a smirk. "Remember to give me a like." She then brushed off Zhao Yan's hand and swiftly exited the women's restroom.
Leaving the women's restroom, Jiang Nuan glanced at the large tree outside and sighed. She walked over to her motorcycle parked in the garage, put on her helmet, and with a stylish flick of the tail, the sign for Jiahe Martial Arts slowly faded into the background.
Zhao Yan was Jiang Nuan's first love, and they had been together for three years. Lee Xiao, Jiang Nuan's roommate, had landed a job as a Taekwondo instructor at Jiahe Martial Arts thanks to Jiang Nuan's help after graduation.
She never imagined those two would end up together!
The more she thought about it, the angrier she got. She twisted the throttle hard and veered onto the highway. It was already 8 PM, and there weren't many cars on the road. Jiang Nuan kept the throttle cranked, and before long, she was speeding so fast that the scenery on either side became a blur.
As she approached a sharp turn, she noticed a car ahead moving at a leisurely pace. Already irritated, she honked and flashed her lights, signaling her intent to overtake.
But the car, whether intentionally or not, didn't speed up and instead slowed down. Furious, Jiang Nuan twisted the throttle again and zipped past, feeling a slight brush as she did. She didn't think much of it, fully immersed in the thrill of speed.
The driver, stunned, pulled over to the emergency lane and got out to inspect the car. With a resigned sigh, he reported back to the passenger inside, "Sir, the car got scratched!"
The man in the car heard the driver's voice and looked up with annoyance. After staring at the driver for a few seconds, he reached out to open the car door, walked around the driver standing by the car, and without a word, got into the driver's seat.
"Sir, sir, you can't do this!" The driver anxiously tried to stop the man, seemingly guessing what he was about to do.
"Driving a Range Rover and you can't even catch up to a motorcycle? You can go collect your paycheck for this month." With that, the man hit the gas, and the car roared with a beautiful engine sound before disappearing from the driver's sight with a whoosh.
"Sir, at least don't leave me on the highway! Sir!!!" The abandoned driver shouted desperately, but before he could finish, the Range Rover was already out of sight.
